 Boku no Ikiru Michi [僕の生きる道]
A great disappointment [Rating: 4/10]
This is quite possibly the most overrated drama ever. I wanted very much to like this show, and to its credit, every episode has at least one really good scene. However, it doesn't make up for the sappiness and overall cheese factor that permeates every minute.
The main characters, Nakamura and Midori, have absolutely ZERO chemistry together-- the story keeps telling us they're in love, but we have no idea why. The story keeps deviating away from where the focus should be (on Nakamura and Midori) and wastes time explaining the back story of the students. I watched this with two friends and we were all bored to tears. Mostly, this drama makes me sad because it had great potential, but just didn't carry through. | Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi [空から降る一億の星]

I simply cannot say enough good things about this show; it's riveting from start to finish and every one of the actors turns in an excellent performance. Watch this or you won't go to heaven!! |
