When I started watching this series, I thought it seemed interesting and typical. A relationship between a rich girl and a poor boy. I think this series was very touching. I liked Kame's expressions alot.. You can understand exactly what he's thinking even though he's supposed to have that "wall". I loved his small giggles all the time. Also, Ayase Haruka is a very good acter too. Sometimes, I don't get her expressions at all.. They were difficult to understand. But otherwise, there was no problems in acting. Both Haruka and Kame made a good couple.
The plot is exciting and the fact that Haruka had a sickness was good too, because it made you thinking and worrying about it.. Though, the ending wasn't the best.. Maybe a bit disappointing, I highly recommend this dorama anyway. I enjoyed watching it and really loved Kame in this. He has matured a lot. Also Koki is a very good acter, not to mention funny, though I think he needs more practice.. He's still got a long way to go to catch up to Kame.
Anyway, if it wasn't for the ending and some things which weren't solved.. This series would have full points. |

Sorry, but this is the only dorama I ever watched and really hated... xD~ I couldn't stand Nao's character and this pushing of problems, which seemed so unrealistic. They dramatisized everything and the characters were lousy... can't recommend at all. (really made me become aggressive towards the characters, the story, the music and everything - especially this stupid orange thingy Nao's always shaking from her balcony xD) |

Well, this drama was OK. The first time that I realize that kamenashi is copying kimutaku's acting! Shame on you. Haruka was so pretty in sekai no chuushin!! What happened to her, she became ugly, a face like a robot! And the other kat-tun guy, with short hair. He pisses me off sometimes. So ugly too, hide at home! Anyway, the drama has nothing original but it's in yokohama, nice scenery and its fresh! youth!

Pretty conventional love story - man without money falls in love with girl who has money, its been done a thousands times before...so what's so good about this drama? Well, it not even that good, saying that though it has two up-and-coming talents in Ayase and Kamenashi who both do a reasonable job but fail to lift the drama from being ordinary. Personally, I think they lacked chemistry - which doesn't help when you've got Kame being all "im so poor so i'm allowed to be sad" all the time combined with Ayase's slightly "im a bimbo but its okay" sort of appearance, and its hard to produce a descent drama. Their were moments, however, where I could see Kame's acting improving gradually, especially from the middle-half of the series onwards. The drama itself probably needed one more episode to fully end on the right terms, but was rushed and things were solved way to easily in about the last 10 minutes of the drama. Overall, slightly disappointing... |

There's a slight melanchony and gloomy feel to the drama that makes me feel like not starting an episode sometimes, just because. Also, I kept waiting for a plot twist or some sort of climax in the storyline, but it never came. |

Set in Yokohama, this is a classic love story between the rich girl & the poor guy. It's not only the music that'll bring your mind to "Titanic". It's a cute story, too cute sometimes, which follows the concept of a typical love story. It surely isn't a must see, but I didn't find it too bad either. I'm no fan of Ayase Haruka's acting but the rest of the cast's did fairly good. This role suited Kamenashi much better than the role as the goofy airhead that he did in "Sapuri".
Well, it's an ok love story, just don't expect it to be anything else. 6+ |

The first few episodes were kinda fun to watch, eventhough it's such a cliche series. The music is simply beautiful. When things got more messy later, it became irritating as you realised just how many more cheesy plot devices they're going to throw at you. It's like watching a combination of every single love story you had ever seen in the past. As for the acting department, Kame was pretty okay though I think he's copying KimuTaku's style too much. He really needs to find his own special touch soon. Ayase was annoying. Koki was overreating. Toda Erika was just normal. Hiraoka Yuuta was the only one I really enjoyed watching here. |

Corny plots can be done well if the script is good~but then here.. i love romantic stories but there is no "touching" pts from this drama~ it's so .... dunno how to explain.. but superficial~
I pulled myself to finish it because my frend sed it's not bad ~ but i couldn't help but ffwd and watch 1 epi in 10 mins after epi 5~
and Kamenashi had a smaller frame than Ayase... wat's with that?? when they were mushy there was no spark |

The first episode was so cheesy I'd thought it might actually ruin the whole drama for me, but from the 2nd episode onwards it actually becomes quite watchable. I quite like the Kamenashi and Ayase pairing, they make a very very adorable couple ^^. Almost all of the young romance cliches are in this drama, but I quite like the different direction the last 2 episodes took (or didn't take, for that matter..), despite the predictable ending. |

Tatta Hitotsu no Koi is a very very classic romantic teenager story. It has all the cliches (poor boy loves rich girl, families are against it, boy does not know how to express his feelings, keeps running all the time in the streets to catch her), but is well done.
The acting is good, even Hamenashi manages pretty well, the story is well written, the side stories bring some additional interest.
It is probably not a dorama that you will remember forever, but you will find it very pleasant to watch and touching at times. |

At first I watch this series coz Kame is in it. The first few episodes are rather plain. I continue watching it for the sake of Kame. But as the story goes on, it becomes better and better. So in the end, I give it 9. Usually, I can never accept the reason to break-up if they really love each other. But in this movie, it seems that I can understand why they must break up. It shows that Kame's character is really mature. It teaches us not to elope in such young age. Everything will be perfect if we can wait for more years. I'm glad that they eventually end up together.
And the soundtrack are perfect. The song can sometimes make me cry. A perfect combination for this movie. |

This dorama resembles Hana Yori Dango a lot, but instead of rich guy/poor girl it´s rich girl/poor guy, but IMO this is much much better than HYD, first the two main leads are much more enjoyable and the plot itself is not as boring or repetitive as HYD.
And the suport cast was good too with Toda Erika and Tanaka Koki, but my favorite character was Ayuta played by Hiraoka Yuuta, he was really funny and allways complaining about being the better looking one of the three but the only one who can´t get a girlfriend lol.
Good drama, some comedy and good acting; nothing outstanding but pretty enjoyable. |
