I think it's hard for me to get into this drama since I haven't watch the first season or read the manga. Only watched the first episode, but it seems like a really slow story with too much focus on the skills of the surgeon for my liking. (I didn't really enjoy the whole hype about the batista thing...thought that was kind of cheesy) |

I was really impressed with season 2 of Iryu. Personally, I thought it was better than the first. The casts seemed to have matured in the second season making the drama a lot enjoyable to watch. The adddition of Yuki's character makes the story interesting and I like how her character is dynamic. |

A good dorama and a decent followup series to the first season. noguchi sensei is as bad as ever and he plays his role pretty well. wish there was a bit more character development instead of always concentrating on the medical cases. also, the continual success rate of operations leaves little surprise for the viewer despite the many complications that arise in all the operations. but aside from these points, this dorama was an interesting distraction from everyday life =P |

Took me a long time to get started because the medical jargons are a put off. I thought the sequel is as good as the first although i cannot understand how a bunch of doctors can go on exile, lay around, watch tv or get drunk. |

What's that? Finally a sequel which is superior to it's predecessor. Again, very, very dragging and suspenseful operations. I'm not interested in medical things but this was very good. The main actor isn't that convincing, but the technically well realization of this Dorama made it special. It's almost 9 points but the story was too predictable. |

Really love this drama after watching 2, so when back to watch the first one. The cast is great (good looking and fairly decent acting) and the story line is very interesting.
I actually really like the simple and easy to understand diagram explaining the operation. Really not sure how real and close to real are those info. But it really help you to understand and follow the story with that bit explanation.
This is indeed a very successful series I am hoping there will be Iryu 3 coming out in the future |

Not quite as good as the first season but still a great show. Unfortunately Dr. Katou wasn't there and Miki and the bleach blond dude were pretty much in the background most of the time to make room for more characters. Once again predictable but very watchable. |

Actually this series was OK...considering that after watching the first two episodes I thought that Dr Noguchi was portrayed as a cartoon character...the music was too loud ...everyone seemed to be too smug...everyone seemed to be in love with their smock..walking in the darken corridors in the triangular formation...BUT then I actually got into the show after...and enjoyed it....a little......... |

As good as the first one, since I watched it back to back, it just seemed like one whole series. Although Noguchi was getting a bit too much, but I am glad he is gone forever now, hopefully. The kids they cast are always so adorable and the stories are so touching. I thought some parts was a little bit too much, like the traffic accident with the heart transplant, just a little bit unrealistic. I enjoyed it though. |

1st ep. EXPLOSIVE! 2 HOURS! Quickly reminded me how much I love this series!
There's no real surprises with this 2nd season, just more of the crazy operations we loved in the 1st.
I do feel Iryu has run it's course and they should leave it at this but... final ep., last shot, looks like a 3? |

I finally finished watching this incredible drama. It is almost as good as the first season although there are parts where I can already predict what will happen. Even then, the process of the entire operation is a bit too fast for me to catch up what is really going on. |
