Karina has not really impressed me much before as an actress or mode before but I think this is a real breakthrough for her. An equally solid performance from the actress playing the role of Yuzu's mom as well. |

And I am glad the ending was nice. It reflects the pain that the mentally-disabled people are going through, and it's touching to see how in the show, many people are willing to help them and give them chances. |

Rated this series a 10 because of the performance of Karina...in other words Karina disappeared and I was only aware of Yuzu on the screen.....I hope she wins "Best actress award" somewhere ......Interesting not too important fact .....Yuzu worked in a bakery, In KinPachi Sensei 7 Yayoi (who was mentally disabled) worked in a bakery, and in Algernon ni Hanataba there was a bakery where a group of mentally diabled worked..........hmmmm |

This is a wonderful story about a mentally disabled woman who has a child. Though there are struggles and hardship, she does her best (with the help of friends and family) and matures into a loving mother, helpful daughter, and considerate sister. Highly recommended |
