| Synopsis |
|---|
On approaching her 20th birthday, Yuki happily returns to Japan to see her penpal, Junpei. However, Junpei doesn't want to see her as he is the one who had caused her brother's death three years ago. Though the truth reveals one day, Yuki still loves him. The couple finally decides to get married despite the strong objection from Yuki's father and aunty. And just two days before their wedding bells ring, Junpei gets stabbed by his ex-accomplice. To keep his promise, Junpei bears the pain and completes the wedding ceremony with Yuki. | | Snowflakes |

I watched this show when I was in secondary one - which means six years ago - but till now I can vividly remember the plot and the characters. Probably one of the first doramas I was introduced to. Goro struck as a dashing young punk then, with a hidden, painful love for Makisa Riho. Despite a series of convoluted obstacles, mutual withdrawals and uncertainty the couple unites in the end. Though the ambiguity of the ending leaves one relatively perturbed - did Goro die on riho's lap? - the innocent beauty of a love between two apparently incompatible youngsters torn apart not just by family prejudice but also personal self doubts and peer pressure reaches the heart. | | Reviewed by chentnk on 6 June 2002 |

Love that blossomed between penpals but hampered by a tragic past. She lives in Boston and he in Tokyo. When they finally meet at 20, many obstacles were thrown in their way, especially from her father.
