1. Darn good one! [Rating: 8/10]
I believe this dorama is actually very underrated. I think Tsuyoshi Domoto is a very natural and talented actor and look forward to his growth in this career area. The premise of this dorama is not new (a la Groundhog Day) but the relationships of each of the members of the ensemble cast are complex and endearing. Tsuyoshi shines as the young man who at first is elated at discovering he gets a new chance at life, but who is soon given to thoughts of mortality, what friends and family really mean to a person and how important a role we all play in each others' lives, no matter how small it may seem.

The soundtrack is indeed sufficiently creepy and the elements of the otherworldy add to the mystery of the show. Not entirely "out there" like some NTV doramas, this one uses the fantastical elements to add depth to the storyline and character development. I was constantly kept wondering what life changes the next "rebirth" would bring for Tsuyoshi's Atusashi and felt all the emotions he did every step of the way.

I highly recommend this to people who want something more complex than just a love-triangle OL dorama.

2. A cut above the rest [Rating: 10/10]
I was overjoyed to read the comments by Gungod, Susie and amethyst, because it proves I am not the only one bowled over by the thoughtfulness and uniqueness of the show. It is truly a cut above the mundane shows that harp endlessly on love and whatnot - this drama teaches lessons on love and life values too but the way in which the scriptwriter attempts to do so is intriguing. The repetitive cycle to the past mirrors Tsuyoshi's reflections upon himself, his ideals, his goals and his surroundings. What makes the show particularly watchable is that it doesn't stop at the time cycle plot but captures a mystery also on tsuyoshi's mother, the screening in the cinema, and even until the final episode the script deals out yet another twist. I love the thread - Icarus Monggol Fielight - that links the entire show and gives it an additional eerie glow.
tsuyoshi proves himself a true actor, alternating between being the disillusioned teen, a devious schemer, a filial son, an unexpressive lover, etc.
This show deserves much more publicity and kudos than it has so far been dished out.

3. Very special.... [Rating: 8/10]
Either I haven't watched enough doramas.......or this show is really in a class of it's own.The plot stands out from the rest. While watching,it inspires....and the viewers will think what would they do if they were in the lead's shoes.Despite saying that it's special,it does not have that kind of entertainment value though, and that the fact that the 'cycle' or death and reborn being repeated too many times does not do it any favours. However, the charm of the drama does not lie in entertainment value, but the special taste and yes,after-taste it leaves you.Coupled with a haunting track....this show really leaves an impression on the viewers.Creditble acting from the cast lifts the show to greater heights. If not for remote publicity here in Singapore,I believe it should have been a cult hit.(I don't think it's able to be a huge hit though, given the storyline).

4. very good, but soundtrack sucks [Rating: 8/10]
I found this drama to be very different from the others and that's what I liked about it. The situations with the Dohmoto Tsuyoshi and the 3 other girls are very interesting. It even has a villain. The only thing I didn't like (actually hated) was the soundtrack. If you watch this drama you'll soon find out about this one "tune" sung by a woman that'll drive you crazy. I would have given it a 9 if the songs were better.

5. Fantastic [Rating: 8/10]
I enjoyed watching this drama. The storyline may seem repetitive as the characters keep going back to the past. But watching what they do with each new chance to re-live their last 4 years is refreshing and never bores me. It's a highly recommended show for those who are sick of the usual soapy love story.

this story is about a boy who keeps returning to his past, when he turns 20, he'll suffer fm excruciating pain and was whirled back to his teenage years..he tries to figure out what he must do to continue time, but liitle does he know the key to time lies in the hand of his mother, whom he thought had died years ago..
i think the story is great, and DoTsuyo was excellent(i didn't dig the hairdo tho) the song yamenaide, PURE perfectly fits the story and the ending titleback is simply superb(it shows seasons' transition in reverse..!)

really like this story...maybe because i'm a history student & understand the butterfly effect a great deal thus i'm very attracted to the plot...kept me glued to the tv...love the way Dohmoto matures during the plot...always makes me wonder what would i do if i'm in his shoes...i think it's the only j drama that made me think in this way...
3. Comments by amethyst [Rating: 8/10]
Drama with a unique storyline and filming technique. Although the story keeps on repeating those 5 years, it never fails to intrigue me since each lifetime is spent differently. Then the twist happens and things start to fall in place as the characters try to get out of the cycle. Domoto Tsuyoshi scores once again with his superb acting!

So strange and interesting. Unlike other dramas! Though it might have been confusing at first, but you do catch on.
Tsuyoshi plays his roles well in all his different lives.
Definitely deserves a ten. The whole cast was wonderful.

Very good performances from a great cast. Story was very engaging from start to finish. Somehow these older dorama seems like they hold more meaning than the ones today.

Initially thought it would be interesting to see how a person would redo his life, but was disappointed at the creativity level and the mess of an ending.

A show with a strange theme. I like the song played in this show (that is of a foreign language) and the surrealism.
