One of the best of all time! Whereas it did not have the drawing power of any of the Honami Suzuki dramas, Narumi Yasuda's acting convinces of why she is a legendary idol. Her partnership with Akina Nakamori is convincing as the odd couple who in the end sees that their friendship is the only cure against betrayals by men and abandonment by other people. The story is simple. It's about two women from different background who loves the same man. They have to struggle over their conciousness to choose between friendship or sacrifice it to fight over the same man. The drama is very touching and the good casts compliments the story which blends into a perfect mix of love story and friendship. Highly recommended.

this dorama's very heartwarming for its friendship story. supported also by the music (bravo Kome Kome Club!!). a good characterization of Yasuda and Nakamori!

Unfortunately, old = forgotten. There was no megastar cast (I think this drama really launched Yasuda Narumi's career, and while Nakamori Akina was well known, she was primarily just a singer at the time), but this story of love and friendship is just so well done that it can easily hold its own among the best being produced today. Plus, it is not overly melancholic or sappy, like a lot of the most popular dramas of the period. The music by Kome Kome Club is fantastic as well. | | 2. | delta_young
