TV Asahi will target Beat Takeshi fans with a continuing series about the star's youth this summer. "Kikujiro to Saki" is Takeshi's autobiographical account of his Tokyo childhood with a father who drank too much and a long-persevering mother who kept the family together. Takanori Jinnai plays his dad. Shigeru Muroi has the role of his mother.
