Go Morita (V6) stars as Takano (163 cm), a professional lock opener, in this NHK drama based on the book of the same name by Taichi Yamada. It's an interesting little love story about a vertically challenged man and a very tall woman (182 cm). During his business trip to Bangkok, Thailand, Takano meets a woman named Eiko Kosaka (played by Supermodel Miki) who is a foot taller than he, and instantly falls in love with her, but being slightly vertically-challenged, he hides his feelings. However, he runs into her again a few days later back in Tokyo, and mutual feelings start to develop between them... End-credit theme song "Kimi ni Aitai" by Eiko Matsumoto. |
