You can't really go wrong with Boss. Comedy, drama, action, great cast, fine writing, and an overall fine example of Japan's great crime dramas. Amami Yuki is superb in every role she takes on, but Osawa Eriko is definitely at the top of the "best of" list. She's strong, funny, smart, and capable while all the while having a charismatic flair and natural beauty. You can't fault any of the rest of the cast, of course. I was disappointed that Toda Erika was only in a few of this year's episodes, but Narumi Riko was a fine addition to the cast. Boss 3? Bring it on. |

Surprisingly better than first season for me, because everyone more involved than the first season. Also the joke was more funny, i laughed a lot when nodate tell osawa about katagiri in ninth episode, just watched at the beginning part..LoL.. The chemistry between this team is more better because the appearance of Hasegawa kyoko, she's better than Toda Erika in my opinion. The case even sometimes predictable but i still impressed about how they direct it, very smooth.

I'm a bit confused with BOSS2. Somehow I enjoyed watching it, but overall I have a feeling this season is really weak, overacted, with simple crimes. In some episodes you just can easily tell who the criminal is: the famous actor among unknown faces. I smiled quite a few times but I couldn't laugh. Anyway I fins Amami Yuki amazing, though too forced in this one. I recommend it to kill some time without anything too complex. |

History repeats, pretty lame until the final case and even that one wasn't that good, what was up with that "everybody lives happily ever after" ending?
At least they did give Hasegawa something to do the last two episodes, but why bring in someone as talented as Riko Narumi to just sit in front of a laptop and bang on the keyboard? Didn't think the first BOSS was all that great, and the sequel was no improvement. |

There were some good moments and a coupla good episodes, but that was it; imho it's much worse than the 1st season (Toda Erika was soon replaced with Hasegawa Kyoko, and that also contributed to my disliking of this season, sorry...^__^;;;...); the humor bits were much less funny (you can only laugh that much about Yamamu's iron wig, c'mon) and the plots were mostly poorly written... |

This is a great follow up to its predecessor. It's nice to see the whole gang back and there are new people who I think go well with the whole group. It's definitely worth checking out if you've seen the first series and if you haven't seen the first one - you don't need to, you can still enjoy it as it gives quite a bit of background in the first few episodes. |

Started out fine and ended somewhat okay, those were the only episodes Erika was in, she was surely missed. But besides her the stories were much weaker than season one and too predictable, plys wrapped up too nicely. |
