1. Do you like Fukada Kyoko? [Rating: 4/10]
Fukada Kyoko plays the granddaughter of an ancient millionaire who apparently did awful things in the past to obtain his money. Now he wants to repent by having his untouched-by-evil granddaughter use up all his money in the cause of good. She's picked policing as her profession, and grandfather used his connections to install her in a police section that very much doesn't want her. Each story plays out with a criminal on a crime spree and the police are helpless. During the panicked meetings they flounder around for a plan until she raises her hand and politely says, "If you could allow me for just a momentc" She then suggests the most flagrant, money-wasting scheme anyone has heard of. The chief of police always along with her suggestion. The scheme doesn't always work, but Fukada always catches the criminal in the end.

This is my first drama in which Fukada Kyoko appears, but I'm willing to bet that this is the character she always plays -- a completely clueless but nice and enthusiastic dimwit. Okay, she did a competent job playing it, but I can understand why people would hate her performance. Every line she reads is played exactly the same.

The supporting actors just chew up the scenery. There's not a line that is not overacted in some way. I'm sure it was done on purpose, but it's darned annoying.

I can't say that I absolutely hated this drama, but it was a tough slog for me. There were charming aspects (I loved the opening credits for some reason among some other repeated devices), however, I don't think I ever want to see it again. I love comedy, but usually the comedies I like say something about the world -- they have a slightly subversive edge. This said less about the world than your standard Bugs Bunny cartoon.

I'm assuming that if you're a fan of Fukada Kyoko comedies...or maybe if you liked the kind of humor you find in Taihou Shichauzo, then you may like this. If you like anything more sophisticated, skip it.

Pretty bad.

2. A comedy from start to finish [Rating: 9/10]
Kyoko was excellent in this drama, she played the role so well. I was totally into her super rich kid character and her innocence despite being in a field where things are anything but innocent. It's a laugh to see her solve the crimes that her other (male) colleagues, several years her senior, couldn't. I liked how those guys totally put her down as just some rich girl that has absolutely no sense as a police officer while at the same time they were no better. The humor is concentrated on Kyoko's character; how someone like her could become a cop and her way of solving the crimes is just hilarious.
Aside from superb acting from everyone, the story is quite interesting too. It's a whodunnit type of detective story that keeps you guessing but with a comedic twist throughout. This drama based its humor on Kyoko's character and never strayed from that. They didn't try to make it touching or deep; they focused on being humorous and it certainly was!

3. Terrible Drama [Rating: 3/10]
There were a few interesting cases and some funny moments in this drama. However, overall it is rather awful. Lack of character development, cheesy sound effects, bad acting by much of the supporting cast (except Sainei Ryuji and Terajima Susumu), and the comedy half the time wasn't even funny. Kyoko's character was bland and boring, and had very little personality. To top it off her grandpa was annoying.

4. Interesting [Rating: 8/10]
I like it because it's funny. Kyoko always solved the cases with her grandpa's money and she's clever to find the real bad guys. However, no love story in this drama and the ending just so-so means there is no perfect ending, hope they will make the sequel because it's interesting to see a girl worked in the world that dominated by men.

6. they should replace the lead actress [Rating: 8/10]
Basically the drama is good but too bad..Fukakyon is annoying. She cannot act..(I'm just being objective here). I don't hate her nor do I like her.
It's a good thing that she was cast alongside with good actors and that save the dorama for being a failure

Good parts: Some of the scenes are really slapstick funny, weird funny and/or funny funny. Many of the crime-solving methods are insanely expensive, making them funny. My favourite would be when they investigated the fortune-telling con artist and Fukada pulled out that bill which number was guessed by the client, and then we see the roomfull of rows and rows of cash behind the wall. For some reason, I also love both seasons' opening credits. Gotta love that shot of the diamond-encrusted handcuffs - it really captured the spirit of the show.

Bad parts: Fukada's line readings pissed me off a lot even though I know she's supposed to be this bimbo spoilt rich kid. Her colleagues overacted a lot. It really gets repetitive that Fukada solves a case per eps for 2 seasons. It also gets annoying when they repeatedly showcased how rich she is by focussing on the branded things she wears, you know, the way they did in HYD1 when introducing the Eitoku Gakuen students. LV bags, diamond rings, high-end manicure that sort of thing.

Conclusion: Average drama. The premise is interesting, a new way of doing cop dramas. Many parts of the acting and line deliveries were cringeworthy. There were some genuinely awesome scenes though.

The first dorama staring Fukakyon i've watched.... and its pretty dull. I knew that Fukakyon's char was rich... but i tough that they would use that fact for comedy relief purposes only..... Damn... all the cases were solved by the char spending tons of money. Fugoh Keiji ignores characters development (so dont expect anything from it on that aspect) and all char r pretty cliche (the only one i tough was enjoyable was the grandpa). The ending is horrible!!! Fugoh Keiji is just so-so....

One case per episode. Each case is solved with the help of the wealthy family of Fukada Kyoko. The script contains obvious loopholes. Dailogue could be long which could induce sleep. FK is her usual self, being overly cute to the extent of annoyance, yet the supporting cast offer great comedic relief, making the serie watchable.

I think I got through about 3 episodes of this, and then decided that enough was enough. It was so boring, and there's something about Fukada Kyoko's acting that makes me want to switch my tv off. I wish she'd move her lips more when she spoke....

Fukada Kyoko is as cute as she wants to be. A real button. But her acting ability is an entirely different story. The supporting cast outshines the main character--and that makes a dud for a series. We'll see if gets better...

Watched this drama to fill in the time while waiting for my other dramas to arrive. Interesting cases they've got there & a nice attempt to make the drama funny. But I simply hate the stupid ending. Too dumb.

plenty of costume changes, storyline as its a story by story basis, some are good some are pure insane. all in all, a pretty nice drama to watch nevertheless

Totally unfunny. Kyoko Fukada is cute but she just can't act or even emote so Fugoh Keiji comes across as a dull, annoying Kyoko showcase.
