Not your everyday silly drama. This drama takes a serious - often controversial - stance at topics such as family, education and life aims. I often felt myself opposed to the characters but that's probably what makes this drama's charm. The characters' views and actions are pretty radical and in often quite merciless, which makes you wonder where to draw a line yourself. All in all a very thoughtful drama, which still has some fun and wit to share in between all the seriousness. |

I like seeing Sorimachi Takeshi again, and Amami Yuki is the same as always (for better or worse), but the story is just so-so. There are some interesting developments, but this is definitely not a story that blew me away. For me, this drama falls into the same category as the multitude of dramas released every season that tries too hard to make things seem inspirational and ends up being cliche and cheesy. |
