A high school girl committed suicide at school. The school would like the incident to be an accident. But the girl's mother, who abandoned her and is a lawyer, and the girl's class teacher believe that the girl's death was a result of bullying in school. Nice pace, nice acting and interesting story so far. Been draggy lately |

The story revolves around the death of a young girl which is presumed to have been cause by bullying in school. Her former step mother (Miho) and also lawyer decides to take on the case and drag the school down.
Unexpected ending! Great cast of young actors mixed with excellent actors. Brought me to tears a few times! |

This drama is not as gloomy as I thought it is. Yes it's protraying the school life of a girl who has been bullied by her classmates. Although it's a theme on bullying, the scenes are all moderated in a way. How should I put it... it's thought provoking in a subtle way I guess. Questions are raised with rational answers but than the ending... left one wonders alot. Interesting drama to watch if you are the type who wants to think and feel the thoughts of the characters as you watch. |

Good Drama!!! Addresses issue of bullying in Japan's schools. Last year there were a series of suicides connected with bullying among students in Japan and this is in response to that current issue. In 2006 there were 608 suicides of Japanese under the age of 20...71 of those were known to be connected with bullying...they think that this number is low....
Kanno Miho does a good job as a lawyer who tries to discloses that there is "bullying" at her daughter's mid-school...This drama plus the drama LIFE will probably represent the type of future dramas
addressing the issue of bullying unlike some high school dramas of the past which depicts the bullies as heroes.... |

July 2007: Someone recommended this drama to me, and I'm glad that I picked this up. Something different from all those school based drama, and of course darker, heavier. Kanno Miho's acting is superb! The ending was abit unexpected, and I thought it should be more shocking. Expected too much =x |

This is the first time I've seen Kanno Miho as a lead, and I must say, I am immensely impressed. I don't think this drama would've been nearly as good if it wasn't for Kanno holding up the show. The supporting actor was also really good, of course (I forgot his name, the teacher guy), and so was the supporting actress who played the principal. The story was great for the first two or three episodes, but it seemed to go downhill from there. The plot became very dragged out, and I think at episode 6 I was already screaming for it to end. Thankfully, the ending was shocking enough to redeem the drama overall. Interesting ending song by Bonnie Pink. |

I'm giving this series a rating of 5 because I'm just entering into the 3 disc. No quite impressed with the opening but this series somehow offers engagement as you watch it and the song is good.
This series speaks for the current social issues in Japan and the discplinary problem posed by the students. Brillian acting from Miho Kanno that won her the best actress award for this performance. |

Drama about school bullying... perhaps due to the fact that I haven't witnessed/experienced bullying in school before, it didn't leave too much of an impression on me, despite the interesting storyline. The structure of the plot was amazing though... it keeps you guessing and it always catches you off-guard.
I have a feeling that the drama was intended to explore the blurry line between "right" and "wrong"... the plot conveyed it well, but somehow it's missing something that really touches your heart. |

Currently watching. Through 6 episodes. 2nd ep. brought tears. This series has been like a roller coaster taking too many zig zags as opposed to smooth curves. The teaching staff is a joke with all having hidden secrets. Kanno Miho seems to be the ONLY one with her head on straight. I'm not sure if it'd be best to just watch the first and last episodes of this series. :p lol |
