|---|
Having just graduated from art school, three young people discover that their paths are no longer the same, and they must reconcile their new lives with their former relationships. Mako has given up her idealism to join a company, and falls in love with Akira's boyfriend. Meanwhile, Akira decides to end her own romantic involvement to pursue her dreams. This is a new twist on a love-triangle from the perspective of three twenty-somethings facing an unknown future. | | TBS |

A beautiful young cast, but relatively unknown.
The story is quite dramatic, but somewhat unoriginal. You can pretty much anticipate what happens next. So no surprises for those who often watch dramas.

i think that the drama is worth to watch... i mean yes it's started well, and ended... uhh quite a meaningless one... but for me, i think that Masako should have been the one with Kawashigi, but her best friend <Akira> delibretly stolen him from her... well, just the drama is based on a triangle love relationship, between two best friends and a guy... i would say it's a worth to watch... i only like the last episode though... it's very sad.... | | Reviewed by jaycee on 3 July 2001 | | 3. | One of my favourite dramas... Though the storyline seems to be unoriginal, it is interesting to see how seto asaka transformed from a tom-boyish girl to a beautiful, elegant and successful woman coming back for revenge. Pretty touching and sad to see the change in the relationship between the 2 best friends.
Personally, I've always like dramas featuring actresses acting as mean characters (such as Miho Kanno in "Koi no Kiseki").
I really love this drama.

OK, this was my very first jdorama and it wasn't dubbed in English (I do not speak/understand Japanese) and I STILL enjoyed it! Although, there were many sad moments (what is drama without them though?), there were lots of heartfelt moments and twists that kept me interested in the story and the characters.
I was disappointed that one of the characters changed drastically in personality - it was like night and day! I thought she was a pretty good person until the change happened then I really didn't like her at all after that - lol!
Masanobu Ando's performance was wonderful, he is able to convey so much with just his expressions (especially his eyes) - but maybe I'm biased 'cos I think he's the bee's knees :b
"Ben" by Michael Jackson was used frequently throughout the series and although I'm not a fan of the song (kind of creeps me out, actually), it was appropriate if you know the lyrics to it. This drama really underlined the friendships between the characters and how deep they ran.

Love triangle. Nice music, but the story is boring. The usual tricks : "I'm pregnant, don't leave me", "She's pregnant, i can't leave her", "I still love you", "In fact I never loved her".... etc etc. Nothing new.

I was happy with the dorama overall except what happened in the finale. It got my attention all through. This story shows how people can change because of love� typical love-triangle theme.
