This drama is one of the best J-dramas in my category. Although the storyline is predictable before the whole drama ended, I found it warming and touching!!! This drama truly illustrated our daily life where ladies (mostly) prefer love among 'love and bread'. It reminded us the issue of 'materialistic' that money can't buy everything. Somemore, Nanako has performed excellently in this drama.

Matsushima Nanako is fun to watch as a head-strong air-stewardess whose life philosophy is not necessarily correct. A strong supporting cast of Nishimura Masahiko as Osuke's true-blue friend. NICE! The script is well-written, the story flows well and there are some parts that are really very funny! Nanako's performance was great even batter than GTO. A very watchable drama that leaves you with a warm feeling afterwards. |

This show is really something. It had me laughing, especially when Tsutsumi Shinichi's character Osuke and his friends would get together. Matsushima Nanako did an excellent job. But honestly, I could not believe her character, Sakurako, sometimes! My goodness, there were moments I could just kick her. It was, however, wonderful to see her eventual transformation, or rather her acceptance of her true feelings. Osuke and Higashijujou (played by Azuma Mikihisa) are just too good to be true, aren't they? At any rate, I really enjoyed the comedy, the acting, and of course, the romance. A good show that exaggerates to some degree the stereotypical beautiful woman who wants to marry into the rich. It started off interesting, but as it moved along, Jinno Sakurako's character and her superficiality began to grate on my nerves. There was no denying however that Matsushima Nanako did a wonderful job portraying this character, it seemed very natural and not forced. Tsutumi Shinichi also did a good job of playing Osuke, the kind-hearted but penniless fish salesman. I've only seen him in "Good Luck!" so it was quite a nice change to actually see some emotion in his face.
I thought that the drama really picked up towards the end when you could see a change in Sakurako's character. It really changed your outlook on her. Anyway, this was a fun and entertaining drama to watch and I would recommend it to everyone, especially Matsushima Nanako's fans. She really shines in this series. |

One of the best endings ever! I love the music here, esp the song Everything by Misia. A sweet story of a woman who wants nothing more than to marry a super duper rich guy. This has to be one of Nanako's strongest roles. Never knew she can play such a funny and innocent character. She really shone in this drama, no doubt showing why she is one of the best jdorama queens. Seeing her maturation and her slowly developing love for Shinichi's character was worth it. People can change, and for the better no less. A very strong supporting cast that was attractive as well. Yada Akiko was beautiful here :-) Felt sorry for her that she didn't end up with the man she loves. A really great drama that I can watch again every now and then. Highly recommended! |

Shinichi plays a somewhat convincing math genius though I like his performance in Good Luck!! more. All in all, a pretty entertaining jdorama to watch. |

Loved this drama. The theme song, MISIA's Everything, is awesome. Matsushima Nanako is beautiful. Though I'm a girl, I fell in love with Nanako. I loved all the supporting castl. The ending was very good as well. This drama made me happy everytime I watched it.

Rewatched comment 2008: The series was great until Sakurako was slowly discovering she loved Osuke, not that that was bad either. This jdorama should have been titled the Perfect Man, after all Sakurako was in search of the perfect husband.Nanako Matushima must really be Japan's jdorama queen,here she is all charm and smiles as the gutsy flight attendant out to get the richest man around as her husband. I still can't get over the nerdy character of Shinichi Tsutsumi as the brilliant academic Osuke Nakahara, its a long way from New York to a fish stand in Tokyo. Its really Akiko Yada as the other flight attendant who is a good judge of character falling for the man behind the mask.Love the clothes of the characters in the drama. The ending is quiet predictable. |

this drama is fantastic. it started out really funny with nanako and the guy "osuke"... and what attracts me to this drama the most is that both of them learn a lot about living from each other. and one a weak and has no courage, another a super confident and strong willed. and both of them make a good pair. i love each episode especially the last episode in the last part...

I simply don't understand why this dorama is so popular. Matsushima is ugly as always. Tsutsumi isn't good in love drama, please stay in roles like in good luck or sailor fuku to kikanju!! please!! yada akiko is cute but it doesn't save this poor drama. Personally, I really liked it in the end. I have to admit the beginning was really slow and boring. Everything was just beyond fake to the point where it kind of got annoying. And things like this drama I'd usually cast aside and label it horrible. But trust me, it picks up after. It's nothing like I've seen before... like Nanako's character, for example. She is one of the fakest & shallowest character you'll probably ever meet... those that you call bitches. This drama might seem a little exaggerated, but it's a good wake up call to unrealistic girls who are still out there. I ended up liking Nanako's character, despite her personality... it's a pretty dimensional character, though you'll probably never believe someone like that is out there. And the other casts itself were A++. Anyway, it's definitely not the best thing I've ever watched, but it's not a waste of your time either. :) |
