By all counts, Beautiful Life depicts several of the best acting performances in Asian cinema I have noted to date, and heralds a topic most of Japan wouldn't touch. A man who has come to realize his dream, in this case being a pilot, by all odds working against him, and in the p[rocess finding, in a not so sappy way, a woman he loves, and has the opportunity to protect her. This series ends on a high note, and is, still, one of my favorites. |

Funny as hell, but still brings you in to care about the characters and their situations, Onizuka is believable and crazy. A great show with good plot, and decent character development. I fell in love with this series quickly and was drawn in by the characters and story faster than most other shows (minus SOS, of course). I give this show a BIG thumbs up for creativity and character development, as well as plot twisting things, and showing how some men, and some women can be when in Love. This show is also a great show to watch someone achieving their dreams. |

I quickly fell in love with pretty much the whole cast, the only one I didn't like was Sachi. Events laster in the series changed my mind on him. My favorite word sums up this series well. ANGST!! Yamato Nadeshiko is about love, destined, nurtured, and forbidden. A story that touched my heart, and made me yearn to have a woman by my side as well. This series is very well made, though even at the end I didn't think that Sakurako was worth it, at least she came to the proper realization about how things should be. It lost points for over using the same song. Otherwise, and A series. | |
