recently i'd watched a drama which i can't make up what the title is. the story is about a teacher who is assigned as a class teacher for a troubled class. the teacher is a lady. it's kinda a female version of GTO. so, if anyone could tell me what the title is, i would be totally grateful.

SPOILERS _ PLOT OF ENTIRE MOVIE _ NEED THE TITLE

I had the entire thing typed out, but the browser shut down on me, so sorry if this is a mess.

It starts with a dark, brooding hero. Long hair in the front, almost covering his face. He attends a run-down high school, all boys, black graffittie everywhere. Is seen as some sort of idol around the school. Has a gang of friends, but one best friend.

They play this game on the roof. You clap once, let go of the railing, clap twice, etc, and keep going until you can do it more times than the person you're versus w/o falling and dying.

In class, he always sits in the same seat in the back next to his best friend. Here, he draws an elongated shadow of a man falling.

Hero cuts his best friend's hair on the roof and while a girl comes by (and all the boys are going crazy over her), he cuts off a piece he shouldn't. Best friend protests, and spends much of the rest of the film trying to cover his baldspot.

One of his friends goes crazy and kills one of their friends (the boy with the red shirt) with a knife, in a bathroom stall, after hearing he can't go to a good university...or something. This killer was also idolized by a effiminate boy who later fell for the only girl in the sotry (I can't remember who liked her, but he was a bastard for turning on them like that). The killer boy is taken away, screaming and kicking, saying he doesn't want to go to jail, but to a university...or something like that...

Anyway, one of the boys is taking a dump (no kidding) and some bullies enter the bathroom and beat him up for stinking up the place... -_-;;;

Hero and his friends go on a hunt with baseball bats. And at that point, the best friend does something the hero doesn't like and he goes all pms on his friend and doesn't speak to him again.

In class, he sits in the front desk and after an embarrassing string of "I'm sorries" the best friend is never seen again.

For revenge, the bullies have this new evil, big, mean, bully with a cockaroach hairstyle and he takes care of all the hero's gang mates. He even throws one guy with a leg cast into a dirty swimming pool.

Hero doesn't care, lets his friend get killed or hurt to the point they must leave the school, and he losses his boss rep at school.

Hero has memories of being a the midget (no kidding, again) garden with his friends and when they put cig butts in the planterns.

While playing soccer, he thinks. Last scene, at school, after the bully has gone crazy, hero realizes what he's doing on the roof. Playing the clapping game.

Earlier, the bully had gone insane and starting spray painting everything black and his two cronies had left him when he started painting himself black. @_@

Hero runs up the stairs to get to the bully. This part is sad since he has memories of his friends, then of his best friend at the beginning of the film, turning and looknig at him, and then of one time they were in a shed orsomething, talking and doing something they weren't supposed to.

He doesn't make it, bully falls, students gather around the dead body silently.

When the hero turns back, he's shcoked to see the elongated shadow he drew on the desk recreated by the bully, in black spray paint, huge, on the roof. The end.

Um. Yeah. Sorry about all the bad grammer and weird phrases. If you know what I'm talking about, please help. Thank you so much in advance.

I wonder if anyone here knows where I can find out information about a Korean drama I was watching last year on KSCI. I know it has nothing to do with Japanese dramas, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi everyone! I came back into watching jdrama's about a few weeks ago after finding one being streamed on winamptv. my question is if anyone knows... what is the name of the show? story was about 3 teens with their parents leaving them for a vacation and how they own some sort of bike shop. I would give more details but then I feel like I would be spoiling for others.

Many thanks for your replies!!

Hmm...the only drama I can think of where a bike shop is involved is Summer Snow. But their parents didn't leave on vacation. They died and left the children to run the shop.

A friend of mine is looking for a dorama he saw... he thinks it's from the 1990s.

One of the male leads is a former marathon runner

The brother is a doctor

Sister works (secretly) at a hostess bar in some episodes

Parents are dead, so brother that is the runner takes care of the younger siblings.

Any ideas?

The very first Jdorama I ever watched was themed by the B'z. The song is called, "Love Me, I Love You". Very catchy tune to a cute & quirky show.

I came in at the middle/ end of the dorama, but all I can really remember, is that the show is based in a hospital. There are several main characters, but one in particular is the father of a teenage girl. I think he's a director of some sort at the hospital. The father, I believe (if memory serves me correctly) starts to fall for one of the nurses at the hospital. When they (the father and the nurse) start seeing each other the teenage daughter isn't really all that accepting of her.

I don't know any of the actors names but when I first saw the show, it came on in 1995. The song was very popular in Japan & San Fran, CA. I remember almost paying $17.00 for the single (but settled for a magazine and gas for the ride back home). Sweat

If this rings a bell, please let me know. I'd love to see this show again!

Domo!

The show was called Dr. Hiiragi. I remember this show too because if it wasn't for this show, I wouldn't have watched The Chef. (The Chef 'replaced' Dr. Hiiragi on KIKU when it aired back in '96) You'll be a little hard-pressed to find anyone with this though. I don't think it was popular enough for even those hardcore drama fans that actually did keep a video tape library of dramas to record and keep it. Kind of like another show that aired around the same time as that on KIKU that I'm looking for and don't think i'll find (Garasu no Kakeratachi/Shards of Glass).

I stumbled across of this during a search for the show online:

Feb. 3, 1996 KTSF "Dr. Hiiragi" (Hiiragi Matasaburo) started.

I don't know if that helps you any, but I hope it did. Anyhow, good luck with finding a copy of the show.
