Yup! Too bad...its exactly that! WMM had always hanged my comp too, many times...but as time passes, I've learned to have patience with it
Why is it ruining your video projects? If you save it all the time, your project should've been saved and won't disappear. You just have to dilligently click the SAVE button, evrytime you make little changes to the project^^ So if it hang suddenly, and you have to restart your comp, you won't loose the project file. _________________

ah but if you have a really long clip and have to cut out a certain part, it takes time, and when you finally do cut it, it froze already. well, maybe i'll give it one more shot. are there any other programs though? _________________

Haha...yeah, I know that trouble!
For me, WMM is for joining and editing all the clips.
I use MPEG Tool if I want to get just a portion of a VCD, so the clips won't take up too much space on my HD. _________________
Has anyone watched the variety show Kokoriko with Kudo Shizuka in it? She was talking about her family a lot with Esumi Makiko, they had a great time chatting!! Could only understand some parts though. Anyone could understand?
ha..I think I know that show. Kudo talk about her life as a wife of Takuya and also about her daugther. She tells it in a very happy way, talking about how Takuay take care of their children while she cook and preparing for dinner

But, I'm also thinking, I don't want to bring too much of SMAP cdr-s too, to Japan. Wouldn't it be dangerous? CDR-s contained SMAP clips/files, would be considered as pirated stuff, isn't it? What if I cant pass the customs safely? x)
