You know, I don't know why (okay I do, but it's just weird), but Four Seasons seems to always be the first thing mentioned whenever I talk to anyone about classical music. Who knows, maybe because 'Spring' is used so damned much in all of the 'posh scenes' of any motion picture. |
The Four Seasons is the most recorded piece of classical composition. |

Nodame Cantabile is one of my most favorite dramas. After watching the first eposide, I went out and bought all the manga volumes. It is amazing how the actors and actresses fit the roles so well. Milch is aweome!!
That said, I've been searching everywhere for a nice high quality wide screen wallpaper of the Nodame cast. I watched the drama on myshoju.com and on the Nodame page they have a GREAT widescreen pic of the cast. I tried to send an e-mail to myshoju to see if they could tell me where they got the pic, but I never got an answer. Has anyone found a pic like this:
http://www.mysoju.com/nodame-cantabile/
I would love to use it as wallpaper. |

That's the pic from the official web site.... I doubt if you'll find one larger than that. _________________

I crack up at the post-sale shot with Nodame, alone, head down, and an empty unagi display.
I don't know what they call those shots, but there's a number of them: Nodame's leg's in the air with a cord wrapped around them; Nodame, Masumi, and Mine standing in the cold with the kotatsu after Chiaki's thrown them out of his apartment.... _________________

Those big clothing bags Nodame throws over her shoulder always seem really strange to me. You'd think with all the technology and gadgets in Japan, there would be a better way to handle carrying a dress for a performance. Nodame may not be as well off as Chiaki, but I think they should have permitted her a little suitcase for 3000 yen. |
I'm thinking it's just Nodame's wacky personality to carry bags with musical notes on 'em. I'm sure she can afford a suitcase if she wanted, especially if she can afford all the Purin Gorota stuff _________________

I think it shows the disparity in organization/tidiness between Nodame and Chiaki: she lumps everything into one big tablecloth/bedsheet and he has everything packed nicely.... _________________

Yep, I agree with bmwracer. Messy vs organized (classy)
I love the furoshiki that Nodame used
Do you think they sell the same design she uses anywhere in Japan?
A few page before they were talking about the pieces used in Nodame, I bought the 2008 New year concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra- they played two or three Strauss pieces also used in Nodame SP. _________________

I think it might be specially made... Like her Nodame piano bag. _________________

I did see a number of similar bags on eBay, but they were all Nodame knockoffs. _________________
