If the CD gets screwed up after playing one hour, something is definitely wrong with your CD or your XBox...
I said at least one hour a day, and i have the cd from 2 years ago, and it started acting funny. There were times when i played 8 hours a day or more on the same game and times when i didn't play at all, thats why i approximated 1 hour a day cuz there are weeks or more when i don't even touch it, but when i do, i do if you get my point. When i start playing i don't stop easily but i'm not always in the mood for the 4 games i have on Xbox so that doesn't happen very often. _________________

Yes. If you game gets damaged while playing, Microsoft will replace it for free IIRC. Minus the shipping fees. As long as you don't move your console while a cd is in it, it shouldn't be a problem.
There was a rumor for the next dashboard update, that you could enable caching to the HDD. It's still a rumor tho.
That dashboard update would be very, very helpful. What does IIRC mean?
I already replaced DOA4 once from the shop i bought it, but they since realized they're not obliged to do so, and they don't want to replace it anymore!!! What do i do so Microsoft will replace it? _________________

The fact that i don't know japanese is my biggest problem
Its just so damn hard I don't know why the developers don't make them for international releases cuz there are many like me that are in love with asian folklore, legends, anime, manga, history and mostly their believes and way of life or better said way of thinking cuz their lives are not so different from ours in this days. There are many like me who would do anything to get their hands on such a game. Example Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Warriors, Warriors Orochi. I'd love to have more games based on such asian folklore but more types, not just this hack n' slash types although i like them very much as they are. If anyone knows more please tell me.Devil may cry 4 lunches for PC on 06/02/2008. Thanks for telling me that they will, i really thought it was only on Xbox360 and PS3.
There are a lot of jrpgs that are translated to English. I'm a heavy jRPGer myself (it's actually my main interest. Dorama is just a side-hobby) and I played many of them. Really good stuffs. The actual problem was not the amount of RPGs translated (though I think there are still a lot of untranslated jprgs there). If any, it's the platform that you have. You can get all these translated jrpgs, the Warriors series, the ninja games (Tenchu, Shinobido), action series (Onimusha, series, Warriors series), j-horror (Fatal Frame series) in PS2 but not necessarily in XBox (which are mainly, for now, on FPS and western games).
If you really would do anything to get your hands on such a game, you either get a PS2 (pretty cheap now the new gen consoles are all out on the market) or scour for a PC emulator.

IIRC = if I remember correctly
Thanks!!! It seems i didn't know what console to buy!!! As soon as i can i will buy a PS2 it seems. I didn't know it had so many jgames i like, on Xbox360 i only found a demo of Tenchu Z in the market place and it was one of the best jgame i ever played. Thanks again!!! As for emulators, well their not good enough to make the gameplay as fun as on the original platform. _________________
I mean, it wasn't a clean finish, since I missed two quests, but overall I was very successful. The Hard option is now open and I can play a new character.
I think I'll take a break from it now and start playing Call of Duty 4. I know I know, I said I'd go back to Oblivion, but I have peeps bugging me now to play Call of Duty, so I'll humour them a bit. _________________

*harrumphs*
I'll want to hear what you think of COD4. The two friends I have on PSN, if ever they're online only seem to play that game. I've also never seen a bad review of it.
I've done loads in Oblivion now. I've completed the main quest - what a job that was, but it was very enjoyable.

I'm glad you've done loads! I remember it didn't take me long to convince you to get the game in the first place.
I want to still get GTA. I'll try to pick that up this weekend or the next. _________________

Please update if you know any for PC!!! Of if anyone knows japanese or asian RPG's for PC. Or not necessarily RPG's, action, shooter, strategy, any kind.
jRPG on PC... there are the aforementioned FFVII and FFVIII. There are also Breath of Fire IV, Grandia II (ooh, this one I like) and Phantasy Star... can't think of any other for the moment.
Japanese games that are released a lot on PC are those "love-simulation" games. Though a few of them do have a nice story, they are, at the core, adult games.
Do you like to watch japanese horror movies? If so, you ought to try Fatal Frame series if you have the chance (Fatal Frame is in both XBox and PS2. So does Fatal Frame 2 but XBox has a slightly better version. Fatal Frame 3 is PS2 exclusive as far as I know).
I've played RE4, Clock Tower 3, Haunting Ground... but none of them gave me the fright. They are just... survival thriller or a shooter with dark atmosphere. Not a survival horror. Fatal Frame is scary. That is the true survival horror to me. The Fear Factor is akin to japanese horror movies and the theme revolves around eastern cult ritual.

WOW!!! Thanks!! Very detailed info, i never expected someone to give me such an answer! Thanks sincerely! I will try all i can, except the adult ones cuz i'm currently living with my sister and nephew, but i don't anyway like adult stuff, unless i have a girlfriend that does. I love japanese horror movies thou i only saw The Grudge and Missed Call(or something like that). They both have Hollywood versions too, i think. Thanks again for all the info! _________________

I'm replaying Samurai Warriors 2 Empires for now. Repetitive but addictive. So it's sort of become a filler -- a game that I play between games. I'm taking a break after replays of Final Fantasy XII. So it's SW2:E time. Completed obtaining 1000 kill medals for all CAW and Unique officers. Done maxing all of them out except Magoichi. Maybe I'll go for DMC3: SE next and check out the improved jump-cancel executions that I heard about. Had the game for ages but never got the mood to play it.

Thats exactly what i always do!!! Only that for me the filler after i finish a new game is Heroes V - Tribes of the East. And i didn't either finished Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition thou i had it for ages too. Every time i tried to play it, i have been interrupted by certain events so its become like a tradition to me that whenever i don't have any work to do i play that and something will immediately come up. Its become extremely annoying. _________________

Heroes V? As in Heroes of Might and Magic? I used to play those games and the chronicles on PC way back when (and hang around the old 3d0 board). Nice TBS. But later I switched to Might and Magic series. Played MM8 then MM7, MM6 and finally MM9.

Yes, now Ubisoft made a newer much better version of Heroes of Might&Magic. You should really look it up if you liked the old ones. Tribes of the East is the second expansion to the Heroes of Might and Magic V remade entirely by them. It has very, very impressive graphics even for today's standards. To play it on a big map or with many NPC's you need a very incredible configuration. _________________

just last night i quick traveled to a dungeon between Skingrad and Kvatch. when the screen loaded i was attack by a Land Dreugh, a Spriggan(and her bear) and a NPC _________________

Lol, NO! Not unless the NPC is evil. Or, any NPC has the potential to attack you if you throw a spell on them, or hit them with your weapon (even if it's by accident).
I'm level 37 (I think), and never had this happen (been attacked loads of times by bandits, necromancers, conjurers and the like).
One spell which I recommend is an Invisibilty one (should be possible for you to get, as you must be quite a high-level character to be getting Land Dreughs). I can avoid lots of confrontations with that. Even if something's already seen me, it can forget me when I go invisible, hehehe.
What quests are folk doing? I'm concentrating on Fighters Guild and Daedric quests right now.
I've completed all the Mages Guild stuff, The Knights Of The Nine and the main quest.

i dont use invisibility much. my 117 sneaking +chameleon can be just as good.
