Hey! It's less than a carton of cigarettes, and I just might end up with a copy of the last Shomuni Special. That's a risk I'm happy to take.

Let's just hope that the Engrish isn't too bad. Fingers crossed

On topic: 7th episode of Joudan ja nai wasn't as bad as I thought, but it's mostly because I was concentrating on doing something else. hehe The parts that I did catch seemed somewhat interesting though; particularly the neighbor liking Iijima Naoko's character. That seems to be the only thing in this drama that's caught my attention for these past several weeks.

I watched some Aishiteiru to Itte-kure last night when I was trying to give myself a French manicure with the TV light. Well, looking at my nails now in the daylight they look pretty bad but the show seems like it will be good.

I mentioned it before that I'm recording it for someone. It's not excruciatingly bad (just close to it), but it's the kind of drama that you have to snark about. Mr Green

Osen episode 4.

I like how I learn random things from this drama, like the old-fashioned miso-making process.

If you like dramas with detailed preparation of dishes, Shota no sushi is your best bet...

I really recommend the Kinpachi Sensei series, I've only watched season 6 and 7 to date and really love them and I assume the other seasons are as good too. It'a a bit on the long episode, 20+, but it's worth it if you prefer a drama dealing with real life situation. It's teacher-student drama but nothing like GTO and Gokusen (which bend into entertainment than reality). It's a good watch.
