Okay, the themes were daring and challenging, but as a complete story it SUCKED...
Why do they reward suckiness??

I don't know much about the other doramas that were in contention.. But seeing the results, I guess the others were pretty much ordinary.
Not saying this as a Juri chan fan, but I think Juri chan deserved an award for her performance in the drama at the least. Best theme song is also OK, though the song had started getting into my nerves after couple of eps! But as you said, no way that it should get the best script (was there one 'real' script for the drama?) and best supporting actor!! I am speechless!   |

From that list, I think LF won for Best Drama as well.

I agree... I was a really good performance and definitely the most complex and most developed of all the roles in LF.

Hahaha. Sorry, no English. I tried to translate as much as I could. Check out the 2nd page of the forum link, there are full page scans of the results (as well as Juri's winning photo). I don't understand Japanese, but judging from the Kanji characters, I think her combined votes from reporters and judges are about 3 times more than 2nd winner (Fukatsu Eri). Huge victory for her.  |

Just checked the pg 2 of the forum.. Ryo seems to be over the moon judging by his pic while Juri chan has a composed look.. No wonder he is overjoyed, surely wouldn't have expected an award! Fairplay to him! |

I think LF winning Best Script is a bit much, BUT! I do really like the monologues Michiru, Ruka and Takeru have. They were well delivered (particularly the latter two's) and meaningful in terms of friendship and love.
But... yeah... oh well.
In other news, has anyone watched Kung Fu-kun yet? It's been sitting on my desk for a while now and I'm not sure if I should invest the time to watch it (when, really, I should invest the time to watch anything with Juri in it). |

I read somewhere that she only appears for 20 seconds inside as a waitress. Haha. |
