Nice bike, Geez!!! But remember the words of that great motorcycle philosopher Jay Leno: "There are 2 kinds of riders, those that have fallen down, and those that are GOING to fall down."

Oooooooooo! I LUFF a boy on a motorcycle.
Exactly what I was hoping to hear.
Now you stay right there. I just have to lose 100 pounds and 30 years, and I'll be right up. (I always knew you were a biker chick at heart.)

I'm like Garp buying the house after the plane crashed into it. I've already fallen down, fallen over, been knocked off, been broadsided by a Chevy, gotten stuck in a Minnesota snow storm on a Triumph Bonnie.

Where's the sidecar for your dogs?
You know.. I actually considered that for a moment, until I brought the bike home and saw the dog's reaction. He launched himself at the fence growling and barking, and spent half the first night parked in front of the door to the garage, doing his imitation of a guard dog.
I don't think he'd be up for it.

Which also means you're well acquainted with Whitworth wrenches and British electrical systems.
The joys of trying to adjust the timing once (or twice) a week as I made my way though the mid west. That bike went on to become a conversation piece/paper-weight in the back of my shop for about 10 years. But it sure was fun to ride on the days when it started.

I was visiting an auto racing forum and they were posting everybody's favorite racing quotes. These are ALL from Murray Walker. Enjoy
"He's obviously gone in for a wheel change. I say obviously because I can't see it"
"With half the race gone, there is half the race still to go"
"Do my eyes deceive me, or is Senna's Lotus sounding rough ?"
"Anything happens in Grand Prix racing and it usually does"
"Alboreto has dropped back up to fifth place"
"As you look at the first four, the significant thing is that Alboreto is 5th"
"He is shedding buckets of adrenalin in that car"
"It's raining and the track is wet"
"and this is the third placed car about to lap the second placed car"
[During a F1 race, describing how the leader can see the driver following him] "... Mansell can see him in his headphones..."
"So Bernie [Ecclestone], in the seventeen years since you bought McLaren, which of your many achievements do you think was the most memorable ?" Bernie Answers, "Well I don't remember buying McLaren." [Bernie Ecclestone used to own the Brabham team].
Murrary: "What's that? There's a BODY on the track!!!"
James: "Um, I think that that is a piece of BODY-WORK, from someone's car."
Murray: And look at the flames coming from the back of Berger's McLaren
James: Actually, Murray, they're not flames, it's the safety light.
From the Spanish GP 1995: "and Eddie Jordan is in fifth place"...
(actually Eddie Irvine in one of his compatriot Eddie Jordan's cars).
"...and he's lost both right front tyres"
(which may have been accurate back in the days of the Tyrrell P34, but it was from 1995!)
There's more expense to a car than the purchase price
Anyone in the market for a new car this year should factor in a number of other costs, such as the interest rate on the loan, depreciation, reliability, fuel economy and -- not to be overlooked -- maintenance and repair.
Consumer Reports magazine says maintenance and repair costs combine to equal about 4 percent of the total cost of owning a car over the course of five years.
Maintenance includes scheduled work -- like oil changes, tuneups, filter replacements and tire rotation -- and unscheduled replacements such as batteries, brakes, tires and exhaust systems. Many repairs are covered by a new car's warranty, especially in the first few years, but can mount up after the warranty expires.
Here's a look at what are expected to be the 10 most expensive and the 10 least expensive 2008 model cars for maintenance and repairs over a five-year time frame.
10 Most Expensive

1 Dodge Viper
