I'm back in the thread! w00t!

So first day of school went off without a problem, but I'll write in detail on my blog.

For now, I have to work on the units I need to start off with. I have nothing planned for tomorrow. Doh! Sweat

So one of my co-workers gets this customer, the guy is upset, he's yelling, finally he asks, "If you were in my place, what would you do?"
My co-worker says, "Well, the first thing I'd do is calm down." The guy went off all over again. hehe

So how was the first week of school Sensei? Did we make any new friends?
On topic: It sucks working on Saturday, and it looks like I'm the only one on the forum. Mr Green

It was uber hectic! But exciting as well. The one annoying thing was that I had supervision right off the bat, so half my lunch was taken from me and I had to babysit in the caf. Other than that it was great.

I'm teaching Visual Arts grade 11 IB (Sweat), Film & Video, and Photography. So far the students seem great.

I do feel overwhelmed with all the work, tho. I feel like I'm being sucked dry, and that there aren't enough hours in a day. But it's a nice feeling...

It took me a while to figure out which way was South, but he's now facing in the right direction, so I think everything will be grand!

I think it's going to affect all of us Esther. They're trying to close our office and a bunch of people decided to take early retirement. Their last day is Friday. I feel sad for them, most of them have worked for the company their whole lives and have no idea how to do anything else. This is a helluva of a time to have to go out and look for a job. Shake Head

It´s very sad - I am very lucky as my job is not in danger (yet?) , I am young enough and never was and hopefully never will be too attached to my worklife.

Both Lehman and Merril are (were?) clients of ours and did business with our clients. Client service had a shitty day today.
