Looks like the curse is still intact. Victory! Peace! But Saito was awful. Lets hope the Dodgers don't need a closer anytime soon. Sweat

Broxton hasn't been much better, either. Sweat

Daaa Cubs ...... are such lovable losers. rofl

It's fitting that they're gonna lose early in the playoffs again. Cubbie fans wouldn't know what to do with themselves if they started winning. The misery is what makes them happy.

The Dodgers still have to win one more... Sweat Fingers crossed

Though I'd be a lot more worried if they were playing the hated Giants, who are off for the fall and winter yet again. Beaten Mr Green Twisted

2002 was an AWFUL baseball year: I didn't want to root for the Angels OR the Giants... My prayers for a World Series strike or similar failed.

What's wrong with rooting for the "California!" Angels? Or do them and the Dodgers fans have some deep-rooted hatred for each other? Head Scratch

Although it doesn't look promising, I'd much rather root for the Angels than the Red Sox. bleh

I just never liked the California-Los Angeles-Anaheim-Disneyland Angels

They're So Cal's secondary baseball team... They're the Clippers of baseball.

I did root for the underdog Rockies in the last World Series against the BoSox, but the Rockies didn't put up much of a fight. Sweat

Dodgers win, 3-1, and sweep the Cubbies back to Chicago. Victory! Peace!

Next up: the Phillies or the Brewers.

Gonna be the Phillies, they just finished taking out the Brew Crew. If the Dodgers pitching keeps up like it has been, they've got a good shot of getting to the Series. w00t!
