If the Dodgers get eliminated, I'm rooting for whomever comes out of the American League, that's for sure.

BoSox score eight runs in the last three innings to stave off elimination, winning, 8-7... Shocked

Now it's back to Tampa Bay for game six. Sweat

Boston runs out of miracles and loses, 3-1, to the Rays.

It's the Rays vs. the Phillies in the World Series.

Funny, how the 2 teams the nation wanted in the WS both have been booted. I admit, Dodgers/RedSox would've been more exciting than Phillies/Devil!Rays ....... but at least now Manny can't get a ring if LA or BOSTON!!! had won it all. Rolling eyes

World Series starts tonight, I guess AD will cheering for Tampa Bay and their pitcher Grant Balfour from Sydney
This quote from Rays backup catcher Shawn Riggans about Balfour:
"When I first met him,h Riggans said, gI couldnft understand him. Ifd ask him nine times to repeat himself; Ifm sure he wanted to choke the hell out of me. (Troy) Percival, he canft understand the guyfs strong Australian accent, either. But Ifve sat in the bullpen with him all year, so Ifm getting there. Hefs hilarious. He says some of the funniest things."

The only baseball news we get on free-to-air TV here is the yakyuu on the NHK news on the SBS news channel. There's probably some on pay TV, but I don't have pay TV hehe
