Dohmoto Tsuyoshi [堂本剛]
His hair, lol, is always changing. Anyways, he is a good actor with a down to earth personality. Always keeping it real and I haven't seen any issues with his acting performances at all. A very likeable person and a cool guy.......
Fujiwara Norika [藤原紀香]
You know, people say she can't act very well, that might be true. Haven't seen a lot of her works to really tell, but in Star no koi, I thought she did a very good job. Attractive looks and eye candy may be her main selling point, but I think she has a decent personality and a sweet smile. Frankly, I think she's at her best when doing more glamourous roles in dramas. For the most part, alright acting ability, nothing special but she has had her shining moments.
Fukada Kyoko [深田恭子]
Good actress. Started from being a nobody but now she is a popular Japanese idol and has been doing dramas ever since. Had a couple of big breakthrough roles in which she did a very good job in. Cute and funny, very likeable personality in most of her roles. Her acting is decent, regardless..... she is still young but I'm pretty sure she will continue to act in good dramas for years to come.
Matsushima Nanako [松嶋菜々子]
She is a very beautiful actress..... a good example of elegance and natural beauty. With that said, her acting abilities are very impressive and can do a variety of roles. Definitely one of the best J-drama actresses in the business.
Sorimachi Takashi [反町隆史]
GTO..... nuff said. Did an awesome job and I couldn't have seen anyone else fit in the role of Onizuka. Has charisma and lots of it and his personality is naturally good for the darker roles...... This dude is cool, I haven't seen that many of his works but I've heard that he is a good actor.
Uchiyama Rina [内山理名]
Still young, has some potential left in her. I haven't seen too much of her acting but she did a fine job in SOS. She doesn't get lead roles but does a very solid job acting in supporting roles and such. Nice facial expressions, cute in a way...... the verdict is still out but I do sense some bigger roles for her in the future.

More of a funny drama. It's filled with jokes about Nato and the like and most of the drama, like over 90% of it is filmed on the beach. Good for eye candy purposes, the storyline is decent but kind of jumps all over the place and doesn't make complete sense. The characters do grow on you after awhile, but I understand that this drama could get annoying for some. It does happen to lack depth and the plot seems unpolished to me....... if you can't really stand the Nato jokes or dislike the fact that it takes place on the beach or seaside area only, then don't get it.
