consomme..?!

there was no one in this drama i really liked, but when i watched the second episode i was hooked.. i didn't know why, but i got to love oda keiji a lot, even though he was so obnoxious at the beginning.. perhaps because of that, his smiles were really treasured by me.. karasawa toshiaki was the best! i can't believe how good he looked actually.. nakayama miho was just sweet yet strong enough.. she kinds of reminds me of myself sometimes >_< though the supporting cast wasn't very in the limelight, they complemented the story well.. being an old drama, the script was rather wierd, unlike the newer dramas, but it had its impact.. ending was a little rushed but since it was according to what i wanted i obviously loved it.. ^^ the food factor was a great plus too..!

the previous kimura drama i watched was [sora kara..] and i expected this one to be the same, but it wasn't as the story went on.. i loved all the parts where halu showed how much he loved aki, it's been a long time since i'd seen such scenes of guys doing all they can for the girls they love.. kimura was great as halu, in fact, i can only picture him as halu, and takeuchi yuko was as usual superb.. the supporting cast of sakaguchi kenji, sato ryuta, ishida yuriko and esp ichikawa somegoro etc. really were so poignant that it made the drama even better.. script was great, really knew how to make me cry a lot.. i especially loved the scene where halu threw away the key with the pink ribbon, only to take out of his pocket another key with a ribbon as well, i completely broke down there.. a must-watch! kimura had done it again..

i really would give it an 8.5.. because i enjoyed all the stories tremendously.. right from the start, i was amazed at the lengths these tax evasion officers would go to catch someone.. the undercovers are funny, but convincing.. especially the one with miyake ken and nagai masaru as hosts in a nightclub.. that ep was super funny.. the cast, of course was great, what would you expect from esumi makiko? even though the emphasis was on the investigation, there was still enough development on the characters themselves to add a bit of familiarity into the story.. though the storyline is a little predictable, it's a show worth watching if you would like to learn more about tax evasion stuff.. i finally understand the meaning of [money laundering].. =P love the cast..!! tominaga-kun..

another great drama by matsuoka-kun.. love the plot.. now i have total admiration for the scriptwriter's ability.. he can create a story out of 8 characters and reverse and change it anyway he liked.. sugoi.. i loved all the the 8 characters. but my favourites have to be tencho and shinobu-kun.. matsuoka masahiro acted really well, just by using his facial expressions he transformed into a cautious, but actually passionate on the inside person.. while tsukamoto takashi was great as both a girl and a guy.. suge kakoii..!! kyaa.. when he plays the guitar i really just melt.. other actors like koizumi kyoko, oikawa, morishita, sakai, matsuo etc. all did a great job.. i laughed a lot during the whole drama.. and i really did enjoy it.. watch it if you can, because it's something not worth missing.. ^^

i fell in love with matsujun all over again.. this time because he's so cute as momo..! a drama with an interesting plot.. as i watched, i was touched at how far momo would go just to get sumire-chan's attention.. just like what a pet would be like.. koyuki-san is beautiful, as usual.. but this time, her acting skills really shown itself.. not much development on the other cast (it's a love story after all).. but eita, ishihara satomi did well.. i loved yamashita shinji and watanabe ikkei's acting.. they really made me laugh.. but the star of the show, momo ne.. matsujun brought out goda takeshi's character really well.. though it does seem a bit wierd for a woman to keep a pet.. i was still touched by momo's thoughtfulness.. though sumire and hasumi should have married though.. and kept momo as their pet.. =P

i was thinking.. so waterboys is good because it is really a seishun drama.. but now another one but with all "older" people.. somehow it wouldn't appeal to me.. but as i watched on, i laughed and cried (mostly) together with the cast.. it is a great drama with great plots.. and i'm filled with respect for this job.. firefighters saikou..! my favourite character would definitely be amakasu, played by tsukamoto takashi.. he's the main reason i wanted to watch this, but as time went on, i grew to like his character a lot.. <3 all the cast did great.. they really made the character theirs with their superb acting.. watch it if you want to feel really touched at the way daigo would go all out to save a person.. i kept thinking if the person trapped was me, how grateful i would be for those shouboushi..

though yet another drama that tugs at the heartstrings.. i'd say, go on, tug at it.. just that this time it has a different fcus.. with a bit of comedy in it too, and it really makes me happy.. sho-kun did a great job and all the supporting cast were good too, such as matsushita yuki.. i really felt the love radiating from taiyo-sensei.. especially love the episode on kenta and daisuke.. my two favourite kids in the whole show.. why does kenta have to be so cute..?! i learned a lot from this show.. i guess every good drama does teach that, but somehow i won't forget himawari hoikuen ne.. everyone in arashi except nino is in it.. at least as cameos.. =P you get to see lots of motherly love.. kodomo ii ne.. i used to think kids are troublesome, but i guess their cuteness changes everything..

this is a really good plot.. and a real one too..! although full of new actors such as SAYAKA, ichihara hayato etc.. somehow they managed to come up with a great drama.. people like kato natsuki gave life to the story.. while cast like takenouchi yutaka and aiba masaki were really good at portraying new teachers who have much to learn.. yashiki sensei kawaii ne~ slowly he became to be a character i liked a lot.. as each episode progressed, you get to see the students change slowly.. even the teachers are learning new things everyday.. the theme song fit the drama very well.. congrats to all of the cast for creating such a realistic drama.. lots of new ideas that i've never thought of appeared.. hontou ni benkyo shimashita, atashi wa.. ato, toru kawaii..!! ^^

interesting.. have never seen a drama with this kind of plot before.. took a lot of risk to do ne.. but why it was so successful must be due to the stellar cast, ninomiya, yamapi, oguri, narimiya suzuki and the supporting cast.. all of them did great.. not a super plot though, what struck me most were the words used.. they really meant a lot.. to give a message to the audience kana? i would say credit should go to anne-chan.. she portrayed just the right image for a girl like chie.. and she did it really well.. another character that left me touched was ken-ken ne.. i somehow would prefer chie together with him.. maybe because i always believe that guys who know what they want always wins in the end.. but somehow.. well.. still great, i think.. <33

i loved it..!! so much so that i finished it in less than 2 days.. from the beginning, i already loved the setting in a newscenter.. and also the main cast of nanako and masha.. but as i watched on.. masha's character, nagase hiromi, slowly grew on me, and i fell in love with hiromi-chan.. his carefree attitude.. but always knowing when to be serious.. i loved his serious moments a lot.. because he seems so happy-go-lucky, when he is serious, it really shows how important makoto is to him.. nanako did well as makoto, protraying a successful career woman.. well she really looks like it.. the rest of the cast were funny and serious at the same time.. and i loved the scene of the studio and control room.. nagase looks so cool when he says [ok.. cue..!!]

the last thing yuri said.. interesting storyline.. but it started out slow.. and i really didn't like to see the children and teenagers fighting over food and shelter.. it really mademe consider not finishing.. but at the end when all of them got together as a group i really enjoyed the show.. the scenes against the army were funny.. :) tsuyoshi and koichi did great.. tsuyoshi put just the right amount of hilarity in the show.. matsujun in his first role was real convincing.. kohara yuki and aiba were so cute.. but credit really did have to go to hosyo mai.. she was at her best.. i enjoyed the rest of the cast too.. shibasaki-san, ryu, makoto, ricky.. watch it if you like plots on survival..

another great drama which really did make me cry in every episode.. i watched it of course.. for nino.. but as the story wore on, i found myself liking each and everyone of the cast more and more.. ueto aya did really well.. as did the other two boys as kota and ryota.. eguchi was funny but yet able to cry anytime.. reminds me of mukodono actually.. uchida yuki did well too..so did matsumoto of ulfuls.. i really liked the episode where kota and ryota had their school sports meet.. it was really sweet how everyone went to support them.. a good drama if you want to let off frustration.. just cry and cry.. most episodes will make you do that..:)

Renai Hensachi 2002 · Fuji TV

really really good...

16 Jul 2003

this drama kept me thinking about it after days of finishing it.. i loved all three stories, but the first was the most memorable... okada junichi really did a great job, surpassing his kisarazus' performance.. the casting was great.. everyone seemed perfect for their role.. all the female leads were superb.. special credit to nakatani miki for being so so good.. inagaki goro seem perfect for his role as natsume.. and tsunku and [bar AIR] fit into the show without a glitch.. i thought it was a very good idea to put three stories together.. somehow it worked even though i'm more used to the normal 12 ep 1 story style.. perhaps tv stations should try more of these type of dramas, the novelty makes it even better..

3 Jul 2003

i loved the show because of two main things: the plot.. and toudou ayumi.. the plot was well written.. it made me look forward to each new task and wonder how matsuoka masahiro as okinojima kazuya would tackle it.. toudou ayumi made me really sit up.. he was the supposed good boy until the near the end of the show where he was finally found out.. sho did real well in one of his first roles and an especially difficult one at that.. also i found myself rooting silently for hinako, played by kato ai all the time.. she always gets bullied but at the same time always willing to forgive others easily.. [yudan desukedo..] haha..

i really loved this drama.. every episode made me cry right from the beginning.. nagase tomoya in his most memorable role ever as sakuraba yuichiro.. takeuchi yuko did a great great job.. protraying a very convincing sakura.. sweet and always there for yu-chan.. the banter between the family is interesting to see too.. timing of the scenes were perfect and that made the show go on really smoothly.. aiba was kakkoii to the right extent as takeyama ryo.. probably the role that i would like him best in.. and the rest of the family sugoi.. great casting.. i loved kaede and azusa and satsuki and tsutomu and everyone in the show..!!

Kindaichi Shonen no Jikembo Season 3 2001 · NTV

matsujun really pulls it off..

8 / 10

3 Jul 2003

matsujun did really well as the kindaichi in this new series.. though everyone would always think of tsuyoshi first when they think of kindaichi.. matsujun brought a refreshing new image to the teenage detective.. that was matsujun's aim in the first place.. and i'm glad he acheived it.. suzuki an did well as miyuki protraying a girl who gets sad when kindaichi looks at another girl or when she is betrayed by a friend.. but as usual always there for kindaichi whenever he needs help.. the last scene of all kindaichi dramas are sweet.. i always looked forward to those.. great job by two young actors..

what i think was good about this drama was that the four children each had their own troubles.. but still came together because of katsura-san.. uchida yuki stole the show as sumire the bank worker in love with her boss and would go to any means to capture him from his successful wife.. nino in one of his first roles in drama did well as daiki who didn't want to follow the path his father planned out for him and rather follow his own dream.. but the credit should go to suzuki an as satsuki.. as such a young actress at that time.. she managed to pull off the role convincingly.. all the characters complemented well together..

the first episode already made me interested as funny scenes were everywhere in the dorama.. the characters were all really special.. esp bambi.. so serious yet so sweet when it comes to moko-chan no koto.. bussan left a great impact on me.. it was the first time i watched a drama where i keep having the thought the lead was going to collapse anytime soon.. the show was filmed in a special way too.. drama fans probably watch lots of shows and are already used to seeing several "stories" happening at one time.. therefore the flashback method used in this show is really ineteresting and new.. it keeps you concentrated on one part of the story only to show the real happenings at the end..

well.. the reason i liked this drama was becuse shows whose timelines only last a short time interest me.. like this drama it lasts only the duration of a cruise ship vacation.. everyone in the show was great.. i won't be able to forget the character of each of the leads.. suzuki kyoka did a great job as shio and shiina kippei was humourous in a dark kind of way.. nino was cute and sweet at the same time as nanami-kun esp in the episode when he met the senpai he liked.. ato wa the rest of the cast .. kanpeki da.. even though the show focuses mainly on chuuka ryori, the development of each of the cast was good, and i got to see touching scenes everywhere in the drama.. a bit unrealistic, but it is a feel-good drama, so it worked.. ^^

it's really great.. i thought.. so much of a higher calibre than GTO.. at least now you have students who can act and are funny to boot.. nakama yukie was very successful as yankumi.. and it seems like all due to this drama she has gone to greater heights in japan.. matsumoto jun is convincing as shin.. as i watched the drama.. i cannot help hoping matsujun would one day tell yankumi about his feelings for her.. :) the other guys are good too.. and they complement shin to like form a group of five guys with wierd appearances but kind hearts.. best drama i've watched for since a long time.. simply cannot forget the plot..
