Benkyo Shiteitai! [勉強していたい!]
| Big wing [ビッグウイング] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) I really liked this one; this drama is really easy to digest and ones that won't fail you if you desperately need something to watch and pass time. The style of this drama is very much like Good Luck!! but on a very different focus... either way, give it a try. :) | Bijo ka Yajuu [美女か野獣] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Despite the average rating I gave it, I actually really liked this one. The plot is very episodic, but I tend to give in to dramas like that. Masha and Nanako pulled a very nice performance together. They could have pumped more into the romance portion, but I'm not complaining. I enjoyed the atmosphere that the drama gave off, and I totally recommend it! ;) |

Dekichatta Kekkon [できちゃった結婚] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) I thought it was decent. Definitely not the best drama ever, but if you need something to pass time, this could be one of your choices. | Dragon Zakura [ドラゴン桜] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) | Engine [エンジン] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) |
Fuyu no Undoukai [冬の運動会] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) | G@me Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Somewhat twisted, cool, suspenseful - loved it! Plot-seekers will like if not love this one. :) | Gal Cir [ギャルサ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) |

Gokusen [ごくせん] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) | Gokusen 2 [ごくせん2] Rating: 4/10 (Watched) Gave up. As a fan of the first Gokusen drama, I was going to try it out because I heard good things from it... but I didn't stop to think that all those who have said that: 1) were fans of either Kame, Jin, Teppei or 2) became fans Kame, Jin, Teppei.
I don't recommend it if: 1) you're a fan of the manga, or/and 2) don't exactly care about Kame or Jin, or/and 3) watched the first Gokusen drama. | Good Luck !! [グッドラック!!] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Watched it for casts, but it was still really good while it lasted. |
GTO [麻辣教師] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) | Hachimitsu to Kuroba [ハチミツとクローバー] Rating: 4/10 If you're going to watch this, I suggest watching the anime. | Haikei, Chichiue-sama [拝啓、父上様]

Haken no Hinkaku [ハケンの品格] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Another new drama that I didn't regret at all picking up in 2007. I wasn't really interested in the casts, but a friend of mine insisted that it's a must-watch and shoved it in my face. It's very motivating and I ended up really liking all the characters. | Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched) | Handoku [ハンドク]

Hataraki Man [働きマン] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) | Hero Rating: 10/10 (Watched) | HERO Rating: 6/10 (Watched) Interesting casting, though I would prefer the original... and the vibes from the original drama seemed to have been sucked away. I didn't like this SP too much... the only thing worth watching after 2 hours of nothingness was the ending.
Waiting for the movie! |

Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙] Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched) A great moving drama which is bound to be a classic... but way too overrated (in a good way, I suppose). | Ikebukuro West Gate Park [池袋ウエストゲートパーク] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) | Iryu [医龍 Team Medical Dragon] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) |
Iryu 2 [医龍 2] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Didn't really expect much since it's a part of a sequel, but it turned out a lot better than I thought. They changed it up with the casts a bit, and everyone pulled through. Still recommend it. ;) | Itazura na kiss [イタズラなKiss] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) | Itoshi Kimie [愛し君へ] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) |

| Kabachitare! [カバチタレ!] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) I quite liked how the story followed 2 heroines. It's quite encouraging! It's good for laughs and the casts were awesome. Fuka-chan was really good at being sassy. ;) | Karei naru Ichizoku [華麗なる一族] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) |
Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) Watched it during my MJ fandom days, and I thought it was pretty godly. But other than the idea itself, there's really nothing too special about this romance drama. It's really cute and I thought Koyuki & MJ did well, but the ending bugged me a lot. They just rushed to get all the possible pairings together... the end. And that's that. :/ | Kindaichi Shonen no Jikembo 3 [金田一少年の事件簿 3] Rating: 7/10 | Kindaichi shonen no Jikenbo (2005) [金田一少年の事件簿] Rating: 5/10 (Watched) |

Koori no sekai [冰の世界] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) This drama is amazingly done. Not so much near the end where it seemed like they're pulling things out of thin air, but the plot is amazing! Good performances from both Matsushima & Takenouchi... and despite what it seems, I have to say this is probably Matsushima's best role yet. Highly recommended. | Koshonin [交渉人] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) | Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003 [高校教師 2003]

Kuitan [喰いタン] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) Watched it for Morita, actually. It's quite childish and if you're into hardcore mystery, this isn't something you want to jump into. But it was good while it lasted. | Kuitan 2 [喰いタン 2]
| Kyousoukyoku [協奏曲] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) |
Kyumei byoto 24 ji [救命病棟24時] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) One of the best medical dramas, if not the best, I've seen so far. Even though I don't know how the ER really works, I can sense that it's very realistic in a way that the doctors and nurses aren't bombarded with work 24/7. I also enjoyed Shindo (Eguchi Yosuke)'s little side story; a romantic side of him, which was nice. :) I liked the casts a lot too; out of all three series, I think Shindo interaction with this group is most enjoyable. | Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji 2 [救命病棟24時 2] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) It's very hard to accept this sequel since they don't spare anyone but Sakurai (Sudo Risa) from the 1st series. But I grew to like it in the end. The format of this so-called sequel is similar the 1st series, but the content is very different and if you give it a chance up to the very end, I'm sure you'll grow to like it too. This group is not as likable as the group from the 1st series for me, but this group has a more dramatic effect to the drama. And as a group, you can sense teamwork. Give it a chance! | Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji 3 [救命病棟24時 3] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) I was really surprised to see that they've chosen a more solid focus on this part of the trilogy. Again, they spare no one but Kojima (Matsushima Nanako) from the last 2 dramas, but as a veteran from the 1st of the trilogy, I was really looking forward to see Kojima and Shindo team up again. What I really like about this trilogy is that you don't necessarily need to watch the previous parts to understand what's going on in the drama. And I also really liked how they decided to make a segment/side story for Kojima and her romantic side (like Shindo's side story in the 1st drama). I didn't expect that. ;D But! The one thing that bugged me about this drama was the lack of focus on this group of doctors & nurses. I think the producers were trying to drift away from their original format, and simply focused too much time on the earthquake. Nonetheless, it's not wasted time on the shift of focus; it's still very touching and dramatic. :D And lastly, I really think they could of done more with the ending... Unless they're thinking of a Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji 4... :P |

| LIFE [ライフ] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) The best drama made in 2007! :) 'Nuff said. | Long vacation [ロングバケーション] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) |
Love generation [ラブジェネレーション] Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched) You just don't get the same feeling when you watch it 10 years later, I guess. :/ I remember when I was a child watching it, I really liked it, but rewatching it didn't quite give me the same feeling. I guess it's because the drama lived well in its own period and your expectations of a good drama change over time. Nonetheless, this drama deserves this rating. It'll remain a romance classic, not to mention a memory of our Golden Combi - Kimura Takuya & Matsu Takako. | Love Revolution [ラブレボリューション] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) | Love Story

| Moto Kare [元カレ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) I picked up this one because I wanted to see the Tsuyoshi-Ryoko pair again... but I really didn't like the erupt ending, and that's where it lost points. Besides, I think this is 'just another romance drama'... so if you're not a huge fan of the cast, it would be rather difficult to get through. | Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人]

Very episodic plot, but it's still very enjoyable. I loved the cast and it had its funny moments. Very light police/crime dramas, which you don't come by all the time. I highly recommend it! |

Pride [プライド] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) | Remote [リモート] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) It's not bad. I liked the fact that they followed the manga quite closely and the characters made the drama really interesting. It's a fun drama, I recommend it. | Rookie! Rating: 7/10 |
Saiyuuki [西遊記 ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) At first I didn't quite like how it's so different from Journey to the West (HK version) and how everything seems so exaggerated. Eventually, I got used to it and I think it's uniqueness from the Chinese version(s) is what makes it good. Recommended if you need to turn away from romance & tragedies. :) | Shin oretachi no tabi (ver.1999) Rating: 7/10 (Watched) | Shota no sushi [将太の寿司]

Shukumei [宿命] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Definitely worth watching for the plot. I think it's very unique and I really enjoyed watching it. Nice choice in casting, because I thought the chemistry between the three of them was okay... | Slow Dance [スローダンス] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) Great casts and simple story... but the title says it all... S-L-O-W dance. I don't recommend it watching it unless you're a fan of the casts. | Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi [空から降る一億の星] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) A drama with great morals; definitely life-altering. It's hard to find a great drama where the aspects of mystery, romance and a slice of life was done well with a nice touch of a plot twist. As a Kimura Takuya supporter, I'd say it's a must watch... for he landed in a role much different from many of his other dramas. =] |
Stand UP!! Rating: 3/10 (Watched) I gave up. I don't know what the motivation is for people who actually finished it, but for me.. as much as I liked the cast, I just couldn't understand the point of this drama. Though I think it would be a good one if you plan to just stare at [insert name here] the whole time... if you're going for plot, I wouldn't step here. | Strawberry on the shortcake [ストロベリー・オンザ・ショートケーキ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) The plot didn't interest me much, but I really liked the ending. | Suekko chounan ane san nin [末っ子長男姉三人] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) |
Summer snow Rating: 10/10 (Watched) I was able to guess the ending from all the tiny clues they drop throughout the drama, actually... but nonetheless, this drama is a MUST WATCH. The whole casts did very well (especially Tsuyo) and the plot is wonderful. It's a very cute romance story, one of my favourites! | Sushi Oji! [スシ王子!]

Tantei Gakuen Q (Special) [探偵学園Q] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) | Tiger & Dragon [タイガー&ドラゴン] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) For an original script, it was done REALLY well. But sad to say, I think it's not a drama for everyone. Also, great casting. | To heart ~ koishite shinitai [to Heart 恋して死にたい] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) |
Tokyo Friends [東京フレンズ]
| Trick [トリック] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Major jokes, this drama! Loved it a lot!! The chemistry between Nakama Yukie and Abe Hiroshi really brought out the drama; I mean, that's probably the only reason I watched the whole Trick series. Truthfully, there's nothing special about the plot and by the time you get to Trick 3, you'd probably catch on to the tricks even before they do. Anyhow, it's still one of my favourite comedies & drama. :) | Trick 2 [トリック2] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) Passable, it's not as good Trick. But afterall, you can't really get enough of the casts' chemistry. ;) |
Trick 3 [トリック3] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) Average. By now, if you're planning to watch Trick 3... you probably really liked the last two Tricks or else you wouldn't have gotten this far. Nothing outstanding. | Unfair [アンフェア]
| Utahime [歌姫] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) |
Wakaba no koro [若葉のころ]
| Yamada Taro Monogatari [山田太郎ものがたり]
| Yamato Nadeshiko [やまとなでしこ【大和撫子】] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Personally, I really liked it in the end. I have to admit the beginning was really slow and boring. Everything was just beyond fake to the point where it kind of got annoying. And things like this drama I'd usually cast aside and label it horrible. But trust me, it picks up after. It's nothing like I've seen before... like Nanako's character, for example. She is one of the fakest & shallowest character you'll probably ever meet... those that you call bitches. This drama might seem a little exaggerated, but it's a good wake up call to unrealistic girls who are still out there. I ended up liking Nanako's character, despite her personality... it's a pretty dimensional character, though you'll probably never believe someone like that is out there. And the other casts itself were A++. Anyway, it's definitely not the best thing I've ever watched, but it's not a waste of your time either. :) |
