All in all just beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful. It's exactly "my style" of Dorama. A bit sad, but with a smooth storyline. The important parts are the beginning and the ending, which tell a wonderfully round story. Everybody says this is about a sad romance, but I couldn't see the romantic part in any point. For me, this is a suspenseful thriller and an interesting human drama. The two main actors have, again, great chemistry, but there is nearly no romantic love, it's more a strange symbiotic connection.

This is a "feel good" Drama for me. I like this one, because it feels like a fresh breeze to watch. Ayase Haruka and Fujiki Naohito are performing some top-of-the-notch acting here. Very straight, linear story, but I like the Idea of this lifestyle, and the personalities of the main characters. Good chemistry between them. Wow.
The sidestories are a bit strange and not so well-developed, but the main story had an amazing impact on me in the last two episodes. When the series starts, you think that the teacher Ikumi is the worst person alive and doesn't deserve to live. And you see Hina as the childish schoolgirl of 17. Later on, Hina develops vastly and grows up, more than Ikumi ever had. But you get to understand Ikumis ways and feelings nearly complete. The end of the story is very sad, but not in the plain way, much more subtle; it mixes up your feelings. Seeing Hina in the ending scene I would describe as the "saddest happy end" I've ever watched.
PS: For the "DUMB" and "SUCKS" people:
Watch this to the very end!!! Or you'll never get to understand this dorama with its many twists. There was a part when I was annoyed by the sidestories, too. Therefore 8 points, but the ending full points.

Well, pretty average. Good actors with average cuteness acting in an average story. Only Ryo convinces completely. I think the storyline is pretty much stripped down to the love relationships, nothing besides it. For me, too many couples (nearly EVERY main character forms a couple with another), way too much "coincidents", a bit too much kitsch, what results from the christmas setting, I think.

Such a heartwarming Dorama. I'm in my graduation time now and this was like the "ultimate dorama" now. Not only that I reflected my own high school life, but I actually felt the spirit of it in the Dorama. I felt joy while seeing Makio getting the puddings, I fell in love with U-u-umemurasan, I felt the sadness he did. Every episode was terrifically hilarious beacuse well over-acted. Hmm. Trick 2 is a hilarious show, especially when you are able to understand the japanese language jokes. IMHO they concentrated too much on the humorous part this time. Unless Trick 1, this squel lacks a constant in the storyline, and the "tricks" are not as nearly as tensioning as in the original Dorama from 2000. It's between 6 and 7 points, I think. Hope for a good Trick 3.
