Abarenbo Shogun [れん坊将軍] Rating: 10/10 I happened upon this show purely by accident on a local PBS station in New York in the 90's. Unfortunately, it wasn't on at a regular time so I was always looking for it. I had forgotten the name of it until I found it again when I googled "shogun". I was looking for more info on the mini series with Richard Chamberlain. I saw that mini series and I was looking to buy it when I saw Abarenbo Shogun on the list!!! Now I'll have to see if I can buy any of the episodes.
At Home Dad [アットホーム・ダッド] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Abe Hiroshi is amazing. Is there no role he can't make awesome? So versatile...incredible actor AND he's pretty hot :D
Bambino! [バンビーノ!] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Loved it. First saw Matsumoto Jun in HYD and I was IN LOVE :D "Bambino" was the first drama I searched for and watched because he was in it.
Bara no nai Hanaya [薔薇のない花屋] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Just started watching the first episode and I already love it!
Densha Otoko [電車男] Rating: 10/10 Loved this one! Dorama was brilliant! I also saw the movie version and I liked it but it wasn't as good as the drama. Drama 10/10...Movie 8/10!
Gal Cir [ギャルサ] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) I watched 10 minutes of this and stopped. I just couldn't take it. This was the first time I couldn't stand to watch a drama. Up to then, the ones I had watched were great. It was because of this that I decided I really should give "Gal Cir" a chance no matter how horrible I thought it was so far. Good thing I went back to watch that first episode because it turned out to be a good one. It wasn't great but I did end up liking it. :)
Unfair [アンフェア] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Loved it! I highly recommend it if you love cop dramas. Ryoko Shinohara is my girl crush :D

Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙] I laughed...I cried...I'll never be the same. [Rating: 10/10] Watching Aya handle this disease with such courage was inspiring as was Asou's friendship. He took care of her and never treated her as Aya with a disease; he always treated her as Aya. Even Aka's desire to fulfill her sister's dream was wonderful. This drama was one of the best I've ever seen; a real tearjerker in the same category as Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu (another of my favourites). I loved Ichi Ritoru no Namida and this is a keeper for me. I'll be buying the DVD!!!
