Aiken Rosinante no Sainan ~ Mukai Ryuuta no Doubutsu Nikki [愛犬ロシナンテの災難]
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
All the animals are so cute!! Domoto Tsuyoshi's pretty good as the blur veterinary student. And the song's really nice too. But lots of tears involved. *sobz*
Anego [アネゴ]
(Bought)
Antique [アンティーク〜西洋骨董洋菓子店]
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
Great eye candy ne~!! It was a good show, very heart-warming. I love the one episode-one story outline, and the cakes were fabulous!! (droolz) The ending's kinda wierd though...
Big wing [ビッグウイング]
Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched)
The airport setting was really appealing (I juz LOVE airports), but the stories were pretty far-fetched (although each ends with a 'everything's settled' kind of tone). Still, Kashiwabara's acting is excellent as always, Uchida Yuki's (my first time watching her in a drama) smile was indeed dazzling as well. The song by elt is nice too.
Bijo ka Yajuu [美女か野獣]
(Bought)
Boku dake no Madonna [僕だけのマドンナ]

Chuushingura 1/47 [忠臣蔵 1/47]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
The story is of course, based on the 47 ronins. The cast for this show includes all the big names... I must admit that I never watched Takuya in a period drama before this, but he's pretty good as a samurai!!
Dekichatta Kekkon [できちゃった結婚]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
I never did like Ryoko Hirosue, but the storyline's still good nevertheless. It's always good to watch a nice romantic comedy once in a while :D and this one's with a slight twist.
Densha Otoko [電車男]
(Bought)
Double score [ダブル スコア]
Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched)
Not too bad. The chemistry between the two guys is there. Sorimachi's great as always (although not as wacky as his GTO character here) being that police-officer-who-doesn't-follow-the-rules, and Oshio Manabu's good too as his scholarly rookie partner. But the ending was kinda disappointing :(
Engine [エンジン]
(Bought)
Gokusen [ごくせん]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
This is like the female GTO!!! And there's Matsujun in it as well :P Great storyline, great cast, great song!! But I thought there should be more progress between Kumiko and Shinohara ne~
Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん2]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
I love Gokusen 1. And I thought maybe they have some new tricks up their sleeves in Gokusen 2. But no. We do have a batch of new boys (more eye-candy :P) to look at now though, but the story's still the same. I must say that I was rather surprised to see the Kattun boys! Great job on Jin's part as he takes on the role of the leader in this 2nd installation. Certain parts in the drama are great, but I still missed Sawada and gang.
Good Luck !! [グッドラック!!]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
Very good!! Great cast, great drama, great soundtrack. The characters have great chemistry between them. I would say this is one of Takuya's best! Two thumbs up!
GTO [麻辣教師]
Rating: 10/10
What can I say? Really good drama!! This is one of the earliest dramas that I watched, but still leaves a strong impression. Sorimachi and Matsushima Nanako really make a good pair (and no wonder they're a couple) :)
H2~Kimi to itahibi [2〜君といた日々]
(Bought)
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
The Japanese version of HYD is short and sweet. Maybe a bit too short at just 9 episodes... The Japanese F4 is fine as far as I'm concerned, and Inoue Mao did an awesome job as Tsukushi. I felt that a lot of effort and money was spent on the getting the settings and props right; so much so that the script wasn't given enough attention and the story seemed to be a bit rushed. But it is still great to watch HYD in its original Japanese glory, with a great cast and new talent to match.
Handoku [ハンドク]
Rating: 5/10 (Bought & Watched)
I wouldn't say that this drama really blows me away with the plot and everything. In fact, it's kind of boring, and the ending was pretty disappointing too. Not my type of drama, unfortunately.
Hero
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
One of the 3 dramas with the Takuya/Takako pairing. This is the drama that started it all for me, so I guess I'll be biase  Good storyline and plot, and I love the unorthodox way Kuriyu goes about solving the crime. Good supporting cast and great soundtrack to top it all up.
Home Drama [ホームドラマ]

Hotman Season 2 [ホットマン2]

Itazura na Kiss [イタズラなKiss]
Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched)
Typical bishoujo manga story  This drama gave me the same feeling when I was watching Meteor Garden (yes, THAT tawainese drama with the F4). It's not at all bad, in fact, it makes you want to know what happens next after each episode. But when I finished the drama, I felt like I didn't want to watch it again. Still, Kashiwabara's cool, although Sato Aiko can tone down her screams :D
Itsumo futari de [いつもふたりで]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
The storyline is really fresh because it features the writing profession, which is not much seen in doramas. Matsu Takako really shines here as the country bumpkin lost in the city. But I thought Sakaguchi Kenji was kinda wooden. The theme song by Mitsunaga Ryota is still one of my favourites, and the settings of the dorama are really cool as well. The only minus point is that Kashiwabara left halfway. If not it'll be a blast.
Kekkon shiyouyo [結婚しようよ!]

Kindaichi Shonen no Jikembo Season 3 [金田一少年の事件簿 3]
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
9 points because Matsujun cannot measure up to Domoto Tsuyoshi when it comes to acting as Kindaichi. XD Some of the episodes are pretty good, but there was a little overuse of CG here and there. The ending credits was awesome though.
Kindaichi shonen no jikenbo 1 [金田一少年の事件簿 1]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
Frankly speaking, I watched Part 3 before Parts 1 and 2... but I must say, even though this series is really old already, I like this better than Part 3!! Domoto Tsuyoshi really bring the character of Hajime through very well. Good stuff. :)
Kindaichi shonen no jikenbo Season 2 [金田一少年の事件簿 2]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
Kindaichi returns!! I think my vcd set doesn't really show the entire series, because they included the movie at the back. But still, I always like the fact that Miyuki is taller than Kindaichi!! :D I thought the stories are better in this series as well. And Miyuki's dress sense kinda improves too :P
Kisarazu Cat's Eye [木更津キャッツアイ]
Rating: 6/10 (Bought & Watched)
Erm... even though this dorama features a cast of bishounens (with Okada and Sho, no less), it didn't really pique my interest in the beginning, the middle, or the end. I held on all the way to the end because of the bishounens :P But still, I agree that the way they tell the story is different from other doramas, so that's something fresh. But I didn't really like the storyline...
Koishite Shinitai [恋して死にたい]

Love generation [ラブジェネレーション]
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
Great love story!! The chemistry between Takuya and Takako is really good. Matsu Takako's character here is really different from that in Hero, so I was pretty impressed by her versatility. The supporting cast is wonderful too, and so is the song. And I always look forward to the appearance of that glass apple :)
Love Revolution [ラブレボリューション]
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
Honestly, I bought this drama because I love the song by Hirai Ken. I don't really fancy Esumi Makiko's shows because I thought that she can never really go well with anyone. So I was surprised that I could take the coupling between her and Fujiki quite well. (maybe it's due to the height? :P) This show introduced me to the supporting cast as well (since this is also one of the first dramas I watched) and I must say that their acting was great. The story was great. But the soundtrack is really what impressed me the most.
Lunch no Joou [ランチの女王]

M no Higeki [Mの悲劇]

Majo no jouken [魔女の条件]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
This is one older woman-younger man relationship that I approve of :P The mood was pretty heavy throughout the show, but it nevertheless makes you root for the couple as they try to overcome all the obstacles in their way. The song (First Love) was excellent, and fits the theme and mood for the drama. Watch to find out who's the real Majo :P
Minamikun no koibito [南くんの恋人]

Mukodono 2003 [ムコ殿2003]
Rating: 4/10 (Bought & Watched)
I survived Nagase's whining and crying in the first Mukodono, so I can survive the second Mukodono too. How wrong I was. It seemed like his crying got worse, and the storyline totally changed (bring back the original plot!! *cries*). The cast changed too, except for Tsunku and Shinohara Ryoko. This is my first drama with Sakai Noriko in it, and I must admit that she is a great actress. But the show on the whole... well for me it's ugh.
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
The idea for this show is fresh, and I like it. Nagase's portrayal of Sakuraba is kinda OTT, but I suppose it compliments quite well with Takeuchi's Sakura. The storyline is pleasant, with every episode concluding something. The family here is better than that in the second Mukodono. And unfortunately, the super-star-with-boy-next-door-character idea got stale on the second installment as well.
Netsuretsu Teki Chuuka Hanten [熱烈的中華飯店]
Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched)
This show is all about food!! Makes me hungry... :) And the special thing about this drama is that the time-frame is actually very short. Still, each character has his/her chance in the limelight (for one episode at least). The special effects are pretty unbelievable, but they don't really hinder my enjoyment of the show. The ending was pretty open-ended, so perhaps they can have a part 2? So we can look forward to more food? :P
Never Land
Rating: 3/10 (Bought & Watched)
Personally I find this drama boring. The cast of cute boys did somehow make me watch it to the end though.
News no onna [ニュースの女]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
This show really offers the audience a view of what it is like in the newsroom, through the eyes of a news anchor. Even though there are many dramas which take place in the newsroom, this remains one of my favourites. The cast did a great job.
Nurseman [ナースマン]

Okusama wa Majo [奥さまは魔女]

Remote [リモート]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
The concept is pretty fresh... but the chemistry between the actors is like, zilch. I bought this show because of Domoto Koichi (you don't really get to watch him in dramas these days), and his character is a little different from the usual detectives that we have in the dramas. Good acting from him. Fukada's good too, but she sure can tone down the screaming. I find the way they solve crimes a bit unbelievable, but it's nevertheless entertaining. But the ending's rather cliche ne~...
Rookie!
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
Domoto Koichi!! I have never seen him act before this, so when I saw this drama I grabbed it. The stories in this drama are typical of those police/detective dramas, with the experienced officer/rookie partnership to boot. Domoto, surprisingly, acted very well. And there's the cameo made by his KinKi partner Tsuyoshi in the last episode. So that's something to look out for :)
Ruten no Ouhi - Saigo no Koutei [流転の王妃・最後の皇弟]

Stand UP!!
Rating: 6/10 (Bought & Watched)
Personally I don't really find this drama interesting. It's all about boys wanting to lose their virginity asap. But the main cast was pretty good. I never doubt Nino's, Nari's and Oguri Shun's acting coz I've seen them in other dramas before. But Yamapi's kinda wooden here, maybe it's due to his character. There are some XXX scenes in there, so those help to perk things up a bit XD Still, the ending made me went 'duh...'
Star no Koi [スタアの恋]
Rating: 5/10 (Bought & Watched)
I actually forced myself to finish the show. It's not because Noriko's acting is really bad, but she acting pretty and doing nothing else really got on my nerves. The plot's not very new, but there's always the fun of finding out how the plain jack and the pretty princess get together and live happily ever after :P
Wonderful Life [ワンダフルライフ]
(Bought)
Yankee Bokou ni Kaeru [ヤンキー母校に帰る]

Yasashii Jikan [優しい時間]

Yoiko no Mikata [よい子の味方]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
I agree with that someone who said that this show is for moms, coz my mom really loved this show. I must admit that I'm an Arashi fan (and Sho's one of my favs too), so I can sit through this drama with no problems at all :P The songs were great, and great performance by Matsushita Yuki as well. I haven't been watching school dramas in ages, and this drama is just so sweet with all the kids. Marina-chan kawaii ne~!!!
