Liar Game [ライアーゲーム]
"Intellectually satisfying"? You gotta be kidding. [Rating: 3/10]
Content that 98% consists out of logical riddles is OK for a "Math can be fun" schoolbook, not for a drama. The characters just have no character; incredibly shallow. The guy who wrote the dialogues had no work to do whatsoever. The plot premises are simply preposterous. No endearing little details. The only redeeming factor is the luminous presence of Shota Matsuda, incl. shirtless. Just fast-forward the rest of it. 8-)

Too bad [Rating: 3/10]
Horrible. Producers apparently think the audience will buy ANYTHING as long as there's a couple of famous names, but they're wrong. The plot is completely ridiculous: at first the penniless heroine has to earn her living by playing violin in a restaurant, and on the next day - ta-da! - she decides she doesn't want to do it anymore and opens up her restaurant. No one is even surprised. The relatives of the main character (the undercover cop, top secret and stuff) go searching for him in Tokyo without having a clue where he might be, and guess what? They find him on the very same day. Etc., etc., etc. And you CAN'T play the same music EVERY TIME the villain appears on screen! I mean, it's great when characters have their own musical themes, but it doesn't have to be played every time we see their face, especially during one single scene! It doesn't add to the suspense, it's just plain ridiculous. What a waste of fine actors.
