Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙]
This has changed my life. It made me sign up to be an organ donator. It made me apply for a medical school after years of working in totally other industry. This drama should be part of everyone's education. It really is that good. 11/10.

Code Blue: Doctor Heli Kinkyu Kyumei [コード・ブルー]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
Nice hospital series. It doesn't do anything wrong and it's easy to watch "all-in-one-sit" -way.
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
Nothing to be said here... nothing I can say... A life changing experience, really!
Kamisama mou sukoshi dake [神様、もう少しだけ]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
After the first time I was really touched by this one. I like Kyoko Fukada when she was young. Somehow she acted better back then.
Last Friends [ラスト・フレンズ]
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
Love has got so many forms. In Last Friends you can see lots of 'em, in good and in bad. I absolutely love and recommend this dorama for everyone.
LIFE [ライフ]
Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched)
If you've been bullied in school you wanna watch this. If not, you wanna watch this anyway.
Taiyou no uta [タイヨのうた]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
Erika is awesome again. The ending made me beat up everything movable in my house (including myself) :)

When things go wrong all the time... [Rating: 8/10]
Drama was quite sad all the time. It seemed that there was rarely any moments of happiness. Plot was going on nicely and all the side characters were deepened enough. Maybe even too much at some points. Watching this series really gave me lots of moments of desperate 'cause nothing seemed to go OK. But the ending was happy and made it all worth watching :) Cast was ok for main parts and some unexpected plot twists happened even though there was lot of predictable ones also. Though the predictable ones were always sweet ones, so it doesn't matter so much :) 2 points away from perfect come from telling a bit too much. I think its nice to deepen side characters, but it looked like they were having too much trouble to take focus of the main plot. I recommend this for everyone who likes dramatic love stories and are not afraid of brutal reality of modern days, like drugs, bullying and suicides.
Aoi Tori [青い鳥]
Unexpected twists within the plot [Rating: 9/10]
This drama was very good. Sad human drama with forbidden love suit me very well. Acting, music and almost everything seem so movie-like I'm not even sure I'm watching doramu. Story is unique and gives you few unexpected turns, which you either love or hate. Altogether this is very touching one and I shed my tears in many parts. I would definitely recommend this for any person loving pure human dramas and not afraid of touching moments. Only thing I didn't like was the ending. I dont mean the "ending" what happened after ep 7, but the very last moment of last episode. I kind of felt the true ending was already achieved when they parted (and it seemed) for good. I think the last act was only added to get the free bird fit in. But that really is the one and only thing not done well! Everything else, and yes I mean everything, is done almost perfectly. I wanna thank the author and actors for giving me so good time.
Arifureta Kiseki [ありふれた奇跡]
Touching drama of real life [Rating: 9/10]
Drama starts interestingly and keeps going on describing problems of normal people in real life. Cast contains no teens, which makes the already touching story more believable. All the actors/actresses play their roles very well. Music and small parts of embedded Irish mythology fit in perfectly. If I would be put to describe this drama with only one word, it would be: sweet :)
Bara no nai Hanaya [薔薇のない花屋]
A very good and solid drama [Rating: 9/10]
This drama takes you over all 11 episodes with no single filling-episode in between! Drama starts very sweetly but first big twist turns out quite in the beginning. It almost got me to stop watching, I was so uppset for this swindling scheme plotting into this one also. But right at the following episode it got me back inside with a marvellous storytelling. And it continued to do so in every episode including the last ones. Hontou ni I loved it all the time! The kind man, a small child, forced-to-hurt-woman and all side characters were written beautifully. As I mentioned before there was no annoying side-plots or filling stories in this drama. That was also a big reason for good score. I really, really liked this one. I would have given it full ten if the bar wasn't set so high with Ichi Rittoru no Namida :) If you like drama which continues the same story without sidelining and is well-written I recommend this to you all. Acting by Takeuchi Yuko was splendid, best of the cast.
Byakuyakou [白夜行]
Darkest so far... [Rating: 9/10]
Amazingly dark drama gave me tons of surprises! I'm usually more into basic tearjerkers and not so much into these mystery/thrillers, but I just had to finish this one after first couple of episodes. Things they did were just awful, and I just didn't se anything coming until it was actually happening. It gave me lots of wow-effects and it also made feel very sorry for their actions. Its nice to watch something like this every once in a while: where main characters are not the knights in shining armours, but do things which make make you cry "WHYYY??" aloud while watching TV. This was so different that I'm definitely gonna watch it again to see how much I missed at the first round. Don't compare this to Sekachu, even though the leads are the same and some background musics contain same themes. This one is not a true tearjerker as Sekachu was :) This is definitely for people liking mystery/crime/thrillers and I'm surprised that I liked it so much :)
Denchi ga kireru made [電池が切れるまで]
Tearjerker start slows to the ending [Rating: 8/10]
After the first 2 episodes I'd cried my ass off and I really thought this was finally going to be the one competing against Ichi Ritoru no Namida in best ever -category. But no... After those episodes (watch them, they are really good! Especially if you're into tearjerkers like me) things start to slow down and story begins to repeat itself. Even though the rest of the story is still compelling, touching and almost all acting is also good, it still left you with a feeling like "what?". They show the most touching and important part of the storyline right at the beginning and afterward everything feels a little lame. That's 'cause all the time you're waiting for more massive things to happen and it just won't. You've already seen the punchline of this series. This one was failed by the wrong rhythm and ordering of the story. It's really a shame because the beginning was really, really good. If you like tearjerkers, watch this to the end. Story is still good and touching. Hopefully you won't feel the same disappointment I did. If you don't, I think you'll give this one at least 9 :) For me it ruined the series though...
Hitotsu yane no shita 1 [ひとつ屋根の下 1]
NIve family drama [Rating: 7/10]
Even though it is quite old, it's still good to watch if you like warm family dramas. Plot contains lots of elements of accepting and also inter family fighting. People with kyoudai will understand big part of this drama automatically. In the end it will also surprise you a bit with its dramatic events, but still one can watch this without too much of a pain. I didn't like the main character Tatsuya, but otherwise acting was ok. Themes were also ok and the accepting of people as they are really hit into me. I found a few tears on my cheeks in the end, but this is by no means any tear festival. Nice and warm family drama, nice to watch but not anything too amazing. 7/10.
Shiroi Haru [白い春]
Really good! [Rating: 9/10]
Man did I enjoy this drama! I can't remember last time I was so much into the story of a drama (and I watch a lot). It really got the elements which have huge affect for me: acceptance, parenthood, sticking together when things go wrong... oh, did I mention acceptance? :) Ok, enough of the puffing and into the point :) Elements which made this drama great, not just good, were: 1. Exceptionally marvelous acting by Abe Hiroshi 2. Compelling story through entire show 3. Touching parts were NOT overdone by prolonging those takes. It made it feel more "real-life" -like than drama. It was touching but not a tearjerker. The story touched in so many ways, crying is not the only thing in my mind right now. Don't get me wrong: this is really serious! No goofing aroung like Atashinchi no danshi... Recommend for real human drama -fans. Did you like Last Friends? Arifureta Kiseki? Aoi Tori? You'll love this one! If you like your boys pretty, girls shy and everyone goofing around: go get some Kattun, this is not for you.
Yamada Taro Monogatari [山田太郎ものがたり]
Predictable, goofy but still fun to watch [Rating: 7/10]
This drama was quite predictable from the beginning to the end. Even though most of them are, they usually contain at least few plot-twists which surprise at some point. But this one didn't. At some points the story felt a bit 'forced', but altogether it was decent basic stuff. Nothing too great, but nothing really bad either. The best thing was definitely the acting. Even though I think the lead boy did a better job in 'Haikei, Chichiue-sama' he did well in this one too. Sakurai Shou played his role well also. Kids were really good and lead girls did ok job too. This comedy stuff is really not my genre at all, so I was actually quite surprised to find myself watching all of the episodes. There must be some catch in it after all :) It was funny at most points and sweet in that dedication by Taro towards his family. I've never read the manga, and prolly won't, because this didn't move me as much as some other dramas do. But in any case it was fun and amusing time well spent. There is some sweet moments for tear-jerker-fans like myself in this one, but it really is mainly about the comedy (do'h). So people looking for easily watchable drama and good time, check this out. Others, watch 'Kami-sama, mou sukoshi dake' once more :)
Yasashii Jikan [優しい時間]
Good and slow [Rating: 8/10]
This drama set up with a really good first episode. It made me watch the whole drama in a row, each episode of it. It got a bit slower at half way and the ending was as expected. Though the ending was the point I was really expecting and it happened :) This is not a tearjerker but a slowly based basic human drama with amazing acting. I've never liked Nino that much (even though he's been in lot of dramas I love) so I was lucky to find out this one was more about the father than the son. Nonetheless he did a splendid job and I must say I value him more from now on. All the actors/actresses were good ones. Though I disliked the character Masami played at some point :) If you like slowly paced human drama with not much of surprising twists in the plot and you like the setting, this one will suck you in fully! In the end you get exactly what you wanted in the beginning of the show. That is also the only downside of this one... a drop of surprising moments couldn't have hurt. Ps. Those scenes of Hokkaido are really making me wanna move there :)
