Anyone who knows about Japan knows about Takuya - the King of Japanese doramas. He is the one who brought me into the world of Jdorama. Long Vacation was the first Jdorama that managed to catch my attention and I was just smittened with him in the show. I started collecting Jdoramas because of him, and I have to say he has never ever disappointed me. ENGINE, HERO, Love Generation, PRIDE, Good Luck!!, etc..he just releases one great drama after another. He is just, simply, fantastic. | Koike Teppei [小池徹平]

Matsu Takako [松たか子]
Takako and Takuya are often called the 'golden pairing' in the Japanese drama industry, and it's easy to see why. Takako is a great actress and when paired with Takuya in a drama, the ratings are sure to go through the roof. I like most of her dramas. | Matsumoto Jun [松本潤]
Great actor. I love his portrayal of Doumyouji Tsukasa in Hana Yori Dango. He made it look like the role was custom-made for him. Out of the whole of Johnnys & Associates, he is the one that impresses me the most after Kimura Takuya. His natural acting talent was already evident in his first major lead role as Kindachi. He silenced critics as Sawada Shin in Gokusen and proved that even as a 'Johnny', he can be talented. I got a shock at how easily he became the adorable pet Momo in Kimi wa Petto. It was so out of character for him but he easily became the character. And after which he again, easily became Doumyouji Tsukasa in Hana Yori Dango. After watching him, I cannot believe how I could've ever thought that Jerry Yen was a great Doumyouji in the Taiwanese version of Meteor Garden..it's just silly! Many people who complained that Matsumoto Jun was too short and not violent enough to be Doumyouji were stunned and called him the 'REAL' Doumyouji after Hana Yori Dango aired. He totally sucked me into the drama and made me a super big MatsuJun and ARASHI fan just by using his acting chops. Definitely one of my favourite actors at the moment. And like many other girls, I have to say this.. 'I want a Momo!' | Matsushima Nanako [松嶋菜々子]
Nanako is my all-time favourite Japanese actress. She oozes screen charisma effortlessly and is just one of those Japanese beauties that are so rare to find these days. Her acting is great! |
