Mixed feelings about this one, the tennispart is rubbish - the countless smackdowns on her face is just too annoying. What must all these youngsters think in Japan? All clumsy/shitty players like her can become top players? ;) The characters and plot are more interesting though. Based on Takashi Miike's movie "One Missed Call (2003)" this is just a poorly done tv-show. Same way they did with Ringu, let's milk out the title with a mediocre tv series and - there's even a US remake planned for next year.
Still it's not all that bad, the main cast is performing well. Not to forget there's some pretty faces in there :hehe: |

I'm not a big fan of Matsu Takako but I think she was great in this role, Sakaguchi Kenji reminds me of my best friend.

I used to play Piano myself so I really liked this show, the cast and I mean entire cast did great in Nodame. I can recommend this show to anyone, even if you're not into classical music. |
