| Do you want opinions, or descriptions of plot...? If the first, I must say it's good to watch, mainly due to the main eventers' having good chemistry. I just wish they would get rid of the useless people there, though. |

| It's very much like Long Vacation, only with younger people. The difference is that unlike Sena, Kyoichi IS smitten with Surumi from the very beginning. |

| I'm kinda disappointed with Boku dake no Madonna. It's quite a boring drama I think (no offense to those who loved it), and suffers from a really bad script. Takki was great as usual, Hasegawa Kyoko wasn't bad either and there's no lack of chemistry between them, but I just couldn't feel for the characters. Probably cos the love story between the two leads .... um... isn't strong enough to impress upon the audience (as in me)? Romance/love between the two leads is what this drama is all about but it wasn't developed well, plus there really wasn't much going on with the supporting casts, there's no obvious subplots in this drama. It's a pity really cos Takki and Hasegawa were perfect for the drama but the script let them down, that's how I feel. |

Hey can anyone who understands Japanese help me out? My Japanese is limited, so the things I've been able to work out in My Madonna might not be correct. Around vol.9&10 I think I heard that Surumi's husband is dead? Then there was this man who came to see her in the bar (who was he?) and Kyoichi's friends said something about him and a divorce? I'm completely lost, because I thought I heard that Surumi lied to Kyoichi and she's actually going back to her husband (who isn't dead). PLEASE someone tell me what's going on, if I've got it right or wrong?
Or, what would be really great, if anyone knows where I can get a translated script? Is that a long shot? |

| I love this dorama alot! Takki look absolutely gorgeous in this show and besides that, i really love the storyline. It's really humourous too! Pretty draggy but that's the whole point. I didn't get bored at all. |

surumi's husband is not dead
the guy that went to the bar is her husband
yeah surumi lied to takky saying that she'll return to her husband
but actually surumi and her husband were filing for a divorce.. |

I watched this drama without subs. And of course I do not understand nor speak Japanese. I loved this drama none the less. But it did make it hard to understand what was going on. I know I sound really dumb for watching something I can't understand. I read some of the stuff you all wrote above.
I'd like to find a transcript of this drama also. Or does anyone know where there is a good site that does detailed descriptions of each show? |
