What is this drama like. I currently have it on vhs from a friend and i am wondering if its worth my time to sit down and watch. Since it doesn't have subtitles it means I have to actually listen so much more to the Japanese....it is worth it?

Big Wing is a great series! I liked it a lot! A heartwarming story at Tokyo's domestic airport Narita. The story centers around Narita Airport with its passengers and the staff, behind the scenes-thing. The theme song is absolutely fantastic, Graceful World by ELT  Yuki Uchida's smiles really warms my heart and feelings  Warmly recommend!

me loved it too.. i mean.. i bought it for kassy and i wasnt disappointed.. not only that.. uchida yuki and the rest of thecast did great.. if you like touching dramas you should get this.. tears just flowed for me in a few eps...  |

| Actually, it was set at the Haneda Airport and not Narita. But who really cares. The story gets corny at times but it was kind of a fun dorama. If you like cute corny stories, Big Wing is worth watching. Uchida Yuki is a cutie. I liked her in Koori no sekai. |

| i personally don't like these series, althou Kasyy is in it.. i was hoping something more romantic happen to Kassy n Yuki Uchida but then suddenly it ended. |

Oops! my bad! I meant Haneda. Haneda airport handles domestic and traffics from Taiwan. |

i like this drama a lot..well, one of the reason, becoz of kassy.. and another part, becoz of the storyline itself..yuki uchida is really.. what should u called huh? hmmmm...she has that 'smile'... |

I sorta fell in love with Uchida Yuki in Akimahende, but in Big Wing her smile was scary. As was the uniform she wore most of the time.
No comparison to Good Luck - it's a totally different thing that simply has an airport in it as well. Similar to Pretty Girls, though a bit more down-to-earth.
Not a waste of time, if you like the actors. BTW: I hear the barman is no more. R.I.P.  |

Uchida Yuki was GREAT in that series! Much deserved props to her!
But if you're thinking about overall drama rating, (IMO) it wasn't the "best" if you're only looking for entertainment value. It was somewhat slow and chessy. But again, this is all in my opinon, and as everyone's tastes differ, you may find that you might actually like this drama.
Give it a shot. Nothing to lose.
(I watched it only for Uchida Yuki)

arghhh, hiroko hatano? that u mean is the wife's of kassy?? i dunt like her exactly *jealous mode on* ... 
eniwei, hiroko play the role as the wedding women whose wanna see her mom at airport. but it's only a few second's (maybe at episode 1). very short role, i think ...  |

bwahahahaha, yeah i think so ... 
i really enjoy to watch this dorama (Big wing). coz so much we can learn of this film. and i think kassy role's in "big wing" have a similar type of his act on itazura na kiss. especially when he say's "BAKA" !!! yeah, sound's familiar when he do that ... 
eniwei, if u like to watch comedy dorama such as similar with itazura na kiss. I recommended to watch "Big wing". big wing worth to watch ...  |

me too. whenever he say "baka", he's so cool  . like saying "anata no koto, suki desu" kakuiiiii  . just watched big wing. and cant help to watch it again . |
