If there's no changes, the SP is gonna be shown on July 3rd, 2006 at 9PM. 2 hours 18 minutes duration [with CMs]. And just an initial gut, observing how the media(mostly TVGuide) boast the SP and how Matsu Takako listed as the 5th cast on the website(link above)...while Tsutsumi Shinichi & Ayase Haruka as the 2nd & 3rd casts, respectively....it seems Matsu Takako as Amamiya Maiko will only have a little role in this SP. In the media, the pictures and articles are ALL about Tsutsumi Shinichi & Ayase Haruka as Kuryu's new partners in the island. There are even no pics of Amamiya's NEW look yet. Probably, Matsu haven't film her scenes yet. BUT... In one of the HERO SP pages, a column titled LOVE, is filled with -Amamiya slept on Kuryu's shoulder- pic. So, most likely, Kuryu & Amamiya's status is dating (lovers) now. But, they're not partners anymore... Thus, probably, we shouldn't expect alot of Amamiya Maiko in this SP... Btw, I just realized the "Ama" kanji in Amamiya's name, is an "ame" (rain) kanji? But it reads "Ama"? How can that be? xD I can never get kanji-s. Oh yeah...there has been reports about HERO The Movie for next year. But, I don't know how true this is and there's still no confirmed news yet. So, probably, it is still under negotiation. But, let's hope it's true _________________ "Let's create a world without war together"

Actually, "HERO" is "ヒーロー" However, I've never seen the drama Hero ever written in anything but English, so it probably won't do you any good anyway.

I a little disappointed, I quickly skimmed the episode and I see that Takako Matsu has a very small role. I am not saying that this is not a good episode (since I haven't really watched it), however I supposed that I was looking forward to seeing more Takako.

There's like one little scene in this special with the original cast, and Matsu Takako is indeed in that scene. Disappointing for Matsu fans, I'd say.

ya.. Takako is in it but from what i know that it only a small role.. and i know that it hard to get all the old casts back after 5 years and the old casts will have a small role for the SP, the SP mainly focus on the Kimura-kun and the new cast, haven watch the SP yet.. so no comment but it think it still good to see kimura-kun act and the ratings is good even though not the best of his record but the highest for this years.. omedetou!!! _________________ 9/9 SMAP's 15 ANNIVERSARY SMAPXSMAP 10 ANNIVERSARY

the old casts only appear in the last 5 minutes of the special.. which is a bit disappointing... the rating is pretty impressive though... 30.9% _________________
