Fo' sho. I can't believe Microsoft hasn't given him the boot already. Many investors have repeatedly called for his resignation. You can shit on Apple all you want but this guy totally dismissed the iPhone and its introduction which was a totally disruptive technology that changed the industry forever. For that matter, Nokia dismissed the iPhone as well and they went from being the largest producer of cellphones to a company that has had its credit rating slashed to JUNK status....and what do you know they decide to go with the Windows OS for mobile instead of going with Android. Windows phones account for a whopping 3% of the smartphone market. Good move, gimps!

Seriously though, wtf!?!?! I owned three or four different Nokia handsets back in the day and they WERE the best...but due to hubris, as with Microsoft and Blackberry, they got caught with their pants down.

The newly released Nokia Lumia cellphones have generally gotten favorably reviews but the public isn't biting...I just read that the Nokia Lumia 900 has just been SLASHED to $49 for new customers signing up for 2 year contracts. $49??? Really.

Why don't they just offer customers a bucket to piss in because it would be worth more than a handset which Nokia has already admitted will not be upgraded to the Windows Mobile 8. Why the f*ck would you shell out money for a phone that you KNOW has been kicked to the garbage heap and will not be supported with iterations of new software....from the moment you buy it at the store. It's like, "Yes, I know this phone has already been condemned to obsolescence....Please allow me to bend over and grab my ankles."

If the phone read NOKIA, then it's already outdated. Beaten When people hear Nokia, they think of the 90s. Except for a local radio host, I don't know anyone who owns a Nokia phone.

Nokia is gimp shiet, straight up. They are getting their asses handed to them by Samsung & Apple. Why the hell would they go to Microsoft for their software when Android is offered up to handset manufacturers for free and has been the only obvious competitor to Apple's iOS. Their CEO should have been kicked to the curb for that decision alone.

You are absolutely right. But Nokia Lumia owners just got f*cked...you buy the Lumia 900 a few months ago with Windows 7 on it and then Microsoft sticks a stick up your a$$ and tells you...by the way, we are not upgrading Lumia owners to Windows 8, just 7.8 so you don't have access to a better OS or any of the API's so developers can develop more powerful apps for your version of the Windows Phone.

I know shiet gets old quick but when your phone effectively becomes obsolete in a matter of months, you know you're gonna be pissed.

Thermaltake cures clamminess with $80 Cyclone Edition gaming mouse

Just when we needed a modern-day equivalent of sailing down the Nile while being fanned by Assyrian slaves, we get this: the Black Element Cyclone Edition gaming mouse, which has a 6,000 rpm rotor directed right at the point where slick skin meets plastic. Pictures of the device have been floating around the web for a while, but we've just heard from its creators -- TT eSports, Thermaltake's sub-brand for peripherals -- that it'll be available in US stores any day now (or officially, "in August") priced at $80. The patent pending design promises to keep noise down to a sub-environmental 21.7dB, while delivering an airflow of 2.6 cubic feet per minute -- which, if you're lucky, should be enough to not only keep your digits dry but also reach your palm. The fan can alternatively be removed, in which case you'll be left with a 6,500 dpi laser sensor, an adjustable weight of up to 22.5 grams, "military-grade" grip coating and an abundance of natural oils.

I saw this. For the hard core gamer who can't wipe his hand on his greasy hair because to do so might risk losing a point.
