Talento Shaku Yumiko cracked up her fans after she revealed that she accidentally bought an iPod Touch instead of an iPhone.
On October 18th, the star blogged her excitement about buying an �giPhone�h by writing, �gFinally! I made my official smartphone debut!�h She continued, �gI remembered a famous saying that goes �eKaitai toki wa kaikae doki�f (The time to buy is the time to change), so I made up my mind. I usually see people playing with it on the train �\ the technique of the smooth ninja thumb~ I�fm so cool�c�h
Once she received it however, Shaku�fs excitement quickly turned into disappointment.
�gYesterday, I happily showed off my new iPhone, but it seems this is an iPhone touch,�h she said.
Shaku sighed, �gNo matter how many times people explain it to me, I don�ft understand the difference because it contains the latest apps, and I can also use the internet, music, and email. I can use my smooth thumb technique, and I can also use the video phone. If you don�ft call this a smartphone, then what is it?�h
Shaku adorably warned her fans against making the same mistake. �gThe appearance is confusing and complex, so for those of you who are considering getting an iPhone, please be careful not to make that mistake.�h
Shaku Yumiko to release her 1st photobook in 10 years
After 10 long years, actress Shaku Yumiko (34) is back with a sexy new photo book!
Shaku�fs upcoming photo book, �eI am Shaku Yumiko Photo Book�e, was shot at a luxury Thailand resort in early-June. From over 20,000 cuts, the photo book features carefully selected pictures of the actress showing off her perfect body. It will be released on August 30th.
�gI have confidence to show an even more evolved Shaku Yumiko. I am expressing my gratitude to my fans who have supported me since my gravia days,�h she commented.
Shaku is scheduled to star in the upcoming stage play, �eJuusannin no Shikaku�e, which will be shown at Akasaka ACT Theatre from August 3rd. She will also hold a handshake event to commemorate the book�fs release at Fukuya Bookstore in Shinjuku Subnade on September 9th.
Shaku Yumiko stuns fans with private swimsuit pictures
Actress Shaku Yumiko recently announced her first photo book in 10 years and impressed everyone with the first teaser shots. However, on July 16th she stunned even more fans with some unaltered private swimsuit pictures from a relaxing moment at the beach in between the photo shooting.
She posted the pictures on her blog under the title �eUmi no Hi SP�f, giving her fans a more than pleasant surprise for Marine Day (a public holiday) on Monday. The pictures once again prove that Shaku has a glamorous and well-toned slender body with not a gram too much. In the first picture she is getting ready to have fun at the beach by taking off her RadyxShaku Yumiko jersey. The remaining pictures then show her on the beach wearing her favorite bikini from Emilio Pucci.
Shaku wrote that she bought the bikini a few years ago and that she never had the confidence to wear it until now, since she put so much effort into her body for the photo book. However, buying a bikini before getting yourself in shape can result in it not perfectly fitting anymore, which she humorously showed in the third picture. She frolicked, �gIf you haven�ft noticed, its size has become too big for me.�h The fourth and fifth picture show her being in very high spirits. She wrote, �gI can�ft tell you how much I love the sea.�h
�eI am Shaku Yumiko Photo Book�f will go on sale on August 30th.

Yumiko Shaku announces her marriage
On October 13, actress Shaku Yumiko updated her official blog and announced her marriage to a non-celebrity man.
Shaku reported, "At this time, I have registered my marriage with a non-celebrity man, who I have been dating for sometime, on October 10." She revealed, "From the time we met, we were both highly and naturally thinking about marriage. While dating him, I've come to think about spending the rest of my life with him, and those thoughts progressed to marriage."
Shaku, who lost her father in January of this year, shared, "By always being by my side and warmly supporting me, he gently healed the sadness and loneliness I felt when I lost my dear father." She continued, "Until the last minute of his death, my father was more worried about my marriage than his illness. I think he's finally at ease in heaven."
Finally, she added, "By supporting, enhancing, and loving each other, I hope to simply, yet steadily, spend day by day being thankful for the small happiness."

Yumiko Shaku announces the birth of her first son
Shaku Yumiko announced through her blog that she had given birth to her first son on 12 June which also happens to be her birthday. In her statement, she said that her son weighed 2,890g at birth and it felt like it was a double birthday celebration for her as she was also celebrating her 38th birthday that day. She was having a checkup the previous day when the doctor suggested that she should be warded immediately that evening as she was showing signs of labour. Despite this being her first time, the delivery process was very smooth and didn't take a long time.
Shaku got married to her husband who is of the same age to her in October last year.
