I brought this one back from my trip to HK. I watched it last week. I understood most of it up to ep 7 (I don't know any Japanese and read a little bit of Chinese) but got lost after that. I quite enjoyed it, overall, but I'm a big fan of Nagase-kun, so maybe I'm biased? =) Overall, not a very "intellectual" drama that you would watch over and over, but fun and the way of storytelling and directing was pretty cool. There is, I think, an offical website for I.W.G.P. (as they call it) but it's all in Japanese and my browser can't read it, so I didn't check it out.
Ja! |

Does anyone know where I can download this drama?
Ideally, it'd be nice to find it on IRC. But if it's on any
file sharing programs, please tell me.
I found some bittorrent links for all the episodes but it's too slow.
The episodes themselves are raw(i.e. no subtitles), but with my barely passable Japanese I'm able to understand what's basically going on.
It may be a little too violent and bloody for some people. I've seen the first episode and am already hooked..... |

I found the raw DVD rips on eMule(i.e. Japanese with no subtitles).
you just have to search for "iwgp" There about 700MB each, so it's really good quality.
Unfortunately, it's not downloading too fast for me.
there are .smi subtitles on emule as well, but they're in Korean.......
Maybe if people here start downloading some episodes it'll get faster for everyone |

 |
|
To help my Japanese practice, I have been trying to find dramas with alot of slang that have japanese subtitles. I saw episode one of ikebukuro west gate part, which seems to have alot of slang, so I have been trying to buy a japanese DVD of it with japanese subtitles. However, all the DVDs for it that I have found dont seem to have japanese subtitles! So my questions are:
1) Does anyone know where I can get a DVD of ikebukuro west gate park with japanese subtitles?
2) Does anyone know where I can get dorama scripts online? I know sometimes here (in america) they make books of popular dramas with scripts in. Is this common in japan?
3) Does anyone recommend any other dramas with alot of slang that I can find with japanese subtitles somewhere?
Thanks alot! |

I'm not absolutely sure, but the official Japanese DVD's (if they exist for this show) might have Japanese subtitles for hearing impaired. This isn't always the case though. So if Japanese official releases don't offer this, it probably doesn't exist. Many Korean DVD's and even American DVD's I come across have subs for the hearing impaired.
Someone recently asked about Japanese scripts too. They'll be hard to find, but Yahoo Auctions Japan is probably your best shot. |

That guy who locks himself in his room reminds me of Kashiwabara Takashi from Orange Days. Probably wrong but oh well. SARS-fansub is doing the hardsub for this one. Only saw 3 episodes so far but pretty good. Anyway why looking for that guy you should look instead of Abe Sadayo |

That's because same characters have recurring roles in Kudo Kankuro's dramas. After working with each other from one show to the next they must've gotten use to each other acting/style. |

interesting....
i like the execution of the show...especially because it shows an aytpical subculture of tokyo...not a bunch of goody two shoes characters like a lot of other doramas. |
