lol just got done watching it. very cool.

but curiously... if todo was about to lose the match because of the double fault (as maki says) that would assume yuu is 40, but when todo got the ace... he won the game? wouldn't he have to go through a deuce first?

maybe i have too much time on my hands ;P

just watched the first ep. Looks like another must-see series (well, i've always liked sport-themed series anyway so i'm a bit biased).

I tried to take a few screen caps from my coppies of Ace o Nerae to show you the CG tennis balls but every time I stopped it they didnt look fake enough. They look really fake sometimes when moving though.

Well, you have to factor in the reality that the available funding in Japanese dramas is much smaller than an average American drama. So the special effects you see is the result of that. My personal opinion about the tennis ball effect is that, when factoring in the $$$$$ amount spent on this drama, the effects I see are what I'd expect.

I know they just looked funny at first. It didn't really make a difference what they looked like and wasn't enough to effect the drama anyway. I also can't really compare it to american dramas because I havent watched any in the past 5 or so years so I'm a little behind.

Lol I watch PoT, too, it's pretty cool... sure there's some exaggeration,
but you can't have a animated show without it.
They should turn PoT into a dorama ^^ Even cooler.
Too bad the series is coming to an end (from what I heard).
Well one-hundred-and-something eps ain't bad of a run for series.

no wait, the guy who lost to Yuu cause of the double faults.

is that guy chinese or japanese? cause theres these chinese dramas (ie AQUA HEROES, TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES, and this newer one about soy sauce) where one of the dudes looks JUST LIKE YUU! im not kidding, either its the same person or...damn...Asians do look alike if not identical

I watched all of this drama and really enjoyed it. The storyline got better and better as the story progressed. The cast was really good too. This was my favorite of the January - March released dramas. Highly recommended! Applaud

Just watched ep1, it's fun but quite exaggerated. It sure is normal to miss the ball when you have to return but no one has such a bad reaction that he starts to move when the ball has already hit the cage behind you Bleah
However, I'll continue watching, Aya-chan is really cute!

Wow, I knew this was based off of a manga, but this was an anime also! Google And it had 2 seasons, 2 ova's and a movie! Google Must've been ridiculoiusly popular.
