..i say again.. you guys only take and show the bad pictures.. there aretons of good ones out there.. it was a fad for a reason.. the reason.. alot of girls looked hot like that.. but some (like the ones u seems to post are the bad ones... )
We show the bad pictures 'cause the majority of them look bad. Yeah, there are some that are hot, but they're hot to begin with. The ugly ones seemed to be more into it which totally ruined it.

and like usuroyobi said.. its dead now.. i haven't seen any in little tokyo since last year...

I'm sure there are still some who cling onto that fad. Go to Shibuya and you'll see some still doing that. Rolling eyes But they're the ugly ones.

Last summer they didn't seem to be a dying breed in Shibuya and Harajuku but that's where you'll see anything Nut My friend said to me on the train when we were laughing at one that really stood out that her sister was one of those too, with platinum blonde hair, a really horrible dark orange tan, black and white eye makeup, the whole 9. She said her sis was like 16. If you saw my friend, she's really pale with jet black hair and she said her sis used to look just like her O___o;; She was like "Don't worry, doesn't run in the family...". LOL hehe

I haven't been to Japan in a while, but I called three of my friends from Tokyo and asked them about it. (After this thread/topic came up) My posts came from their responses. And they aren't Gaijins living in Japan. They're full on Japanese who can hardly speak any English at all. So I think my statement has been pretty much well validated. Otherwise, I wouldn't have posted it, had they told me different. Wink

I am living in Japan now and I can validate that. It is a new trend that began in Shibuya and other such teen spots in Tokyo (Harajuku, etc), and is slowly beginning to spread. I can't say I've seen it reach Osaka yet.. but in time, i'm sure.

I also saw a magazine the other day, i was browsing through it and came across this photo page taken in Shibuya. It was basically a big group photo of those ganguro style girls and guys posing together. Some of the guys look like their female counterparts to the extent that I could barely sort girls from guys.

That is a bad thing if you're at a club thinking you are going to hook up a honey, then going home with a dude....UNLESS that is what one is looking for. Bleah

Just came back from Japan today. When I was in Shibuya I saw some of those kogals. The new thing for them now is to wear animal costumes or headbands with animal ears on them. Didn't see any of the guys though. Bleah
