I sent a pm to a close member here, I wonder why she didn't reply, and then I know that she's not receiving it. There's no pm from me in the inbox.

I replied a pm sent by Mixxdreamer to me, but i don't know she ever receive my reply or not.

I also sent 2 pm to Buruburu regarding the DVD service, and both pms unreplied. I guess this is also the same thing like the first, so I conclude Buruburu didn't receive my pm either.

I wonder why.
is it from my side (compy etc) or Jdorama.

After you send a PM, check if its in the Outbox. If it is, then the system had already sent the PM and the receipient shld get it.

If not.. did u receive any error message while sending the PM?

if messages that were already sent, fell into the outbox. then what type of messages does the sent box store then?

if its in the outbox that means its been sent successfully but the recipient hasnt read it yet.

if its in the sent box, then that means its been read by the recipient.

there are 5 pm in the out box, 3 to Liss, one to Mixx, and one to Buruburu, that means Buruburu received one of my 2 pm while the other one undelivered.

there is no error message,it said ur msg has been sent, something like that.

i wonder what's wrong with that 5 pm.

See if you are able to replicate that problem (be able to make it happen again, and let me know exactly who u sent to, and the contents of the msg), and we'll see what conditions apply when that happens.

and btw now that I see the sentbox again, the no of pms increased, meaning that it has actually sent out but still, the recipient said she didn't get it. will tell u straightly through pm if this happen again...

I am having problems with not getting any e-mail notifications when I get my PMs. This problem started this past Monday Aug 1st, I think. It was working fine before that date. I have gone into my profile and made sure that I checked the correct selection to be notified by e-mail when I get a PM. Sooooo help please!!!!!!

Perhaps dochira! Because not only am I no longer able to get any e-mail notifications for my PMs but When I log in I check the log me in automatically each time and that isn't working either. Go figure!

Hmm, I just noticed that I can't turn off the popup notification for PMs...

I'm sure Genma will look into these issues. They might have changed more variable names. That would be a no-no in terms of backwards compatibilty (I have to be concerned about that at work).

i never get PM notifications anymore. I figured its because Im always ahead of the system checking in on things.

Yeah I see your point Eve but sometimes I come to this board and don't log on, just to sort of take a fast check of a few of my fav threads and I can't see that I have a PM unless I log on. Whereas before the problem started for me I could always tell when I had a PM waiting for me here. Plus as I said before I also can't log on automatically on each visit, so lets hope that Genma can help solve these minor problems.

I've reset some settings in the email thingy, could you see if you're receiving any mail now? I've managed to receive mine. If you still can't receive the emails, it could be due to a spamhaus blocking that we're encountering lately. Some dudes with similar IP addresses as our server had sent some spam mail, and that got us blocked on many servers. Still trying to resolve that issue.

As for auto-logging in, its still working fine on my side. Did you try a different PC or browser to be sure?

Hey Enna, I just received a bounced email for your PM notification. optonline.net has blocked out jdorama.com due to us being in the spamhaus listing. I think it'll take a few days before ruroshin sorts this out with the host provider to get us off the list. Sorry about that.

This email blocking probably applies to many other users too. Please bear with it.

Thank you very much Genma for looking into this matter. I really appreciate it. As you mentioned I did not get an e-mail notification for your PM due to my server blocking out jdorama.com. I hope you are off the spamhaus listing soon.
