Details on Kaela Kimura's new album 'PUNKY' announced

The details on Kaela Kimura's new album 'PUNKY' to be release on October 19 have been announced.

"PUNKY" marks the singer's first new album in almost two years. It will include songs provided by H ZETT M, Shikegatsu Aida, AxSxEx, Koichi Tsutaya, Shigeru Kishida, and Siamese Cats.

Kana Nishino will release new single in October

Kana Nishino will release her new single "Dear Bride" on October 26.

It will air as the new theme song for Fuji TV's 'Mezamashi TV' beginning October 3rd.

The single will be released in both regular and limited editions. The limited edition DVD will contain the PV for "Have A Nice Day', a track that was included in her album "Just LOVE".

Miliyah Kato to release new single in December

Miliyah Kato will release her new single "Saikou na Shiawase" on December 7.

As its coupling track, the single will include "Ai no Kuni" and "Mabaroshi". The single will be available in a regular edition and a limited edition that comes with a DVD containing the PV for the title track.

Superfly's new single to include all 'Doctor X' theme songs

Superfly's new single "99" is the theme song for TV Asahi's drama "Doctor X - Gekai - Daimon Michiko-" which just started on October 13. As the coupling tracks the single will include previous 'Doctor X' theme songs "Force", "Bi-Li-Li Emotion" and "Ai wo Karada ni Fukikonde".

The single's limited edition will come with a DVD containing Superfly's performance from her nationwide tour "White Tour 2015" held at Tokyo International Forum. In association with the single's title there will only be 9,999 copies of the edition.

BABYMETAL to release live album in December

BABYMETAL will release a live album, titled "LIVE AT WEMBLEY" on December 28th.

The album will be comprised of 13 songs performed at their show last April at the SSE Arena, Wembley in England. It will be the group's first live album since "LIVE AT BUDOKAN - RED NIGHT" which was released about two years ago.

A DVD/Blu-ray of this concert will also be released on November 23rd.

Misaki Iwasa to release new single 'Saba Kaido'

Misaki Iwasa will release a new single, "Saba Kaido" on January 10, 2017.

Since graduating from AKB48 in March, Iwasa has been active as an enka singer. Her upcoming single will be about the 'Saba Kaido' which is a road that links Fukui to Kyoto.

The single will be released in both regular and limited editions. For the limited edition Iwasa covers Miyuki Kawanaka's "Futarizake" and the regular edition will include a cover of Mirei Kitahara's "Ishikari Banka" as well as an acoustic version of "Nagori Yuki".

Iwasa will also release her first solo album "Misaki Meguri - Dai 1-sho -" on November 30.

ONE OK ROCK to release first album in two years

ONE OK ROCK will release their new album "Ambitions" on January 11.

This marks the bands first album since "35xxxv" released about two years ago. It will contain 14 songs including "Taking Off" which was picked up as the theme song for the movie "Museum" and "Listen" featuring Avril Lavigne.

The album will be released in a limited edition and a regular edition. Besides bonus tracks, the limited edition will come with a DVD with footage of their acoustic sessions at the studio.

Babymetal and Man With A Mission to be supporting acts for Guns N' Roses' concerts in Japan

Babymetal and Man With A Mission have been confirmed as supporting acts for Guns N' Roses' upcoming concerts in Japan.

This will be Guns N' Roses' first concert in Japan in 24 years with the original members. Babymetal will serve as the supporting act for 4 of the 5 concerts, while Man With A Mission will share the stage at one show.

Bump Of Chicken to digitally release new single "Answer"

Bump Of Chicken will digitally release their new single "Answer" on December 21st.

"Answer" was written as the opening theme for the anime '3-gatsu no Lion'. This was the band's second collaboration with the series.

Also on December 21st they will release "Bump Of Chicken Stadium Tour 2016 "BFLY" Nissan Stadium 2016/7/16, 17" on Blu-ray and DVD.

Leo Ieiri to release first best-of album

Leo Ieiri will release a best-of album "5th Anniversary Best" of February 15.

The singer's first best-of album will include all of her singles including a new song, "Sorezore no Ashita e" and a bonus track "Bokutachi no Mirai (Special Version)".

The album will be released in three different versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and Regular Edition. The Limited Edition A DVD will contain the complete footage of her live at Tokyo International Forum, while the Limited Edition B DVD will come with PVs and making footages for all singles and "Sorezore no Ashita e". Limited Editions A and B will include another bonus track, "I promise you", which was the first song Ieiri wrote and composed when she was 13 years old.

Perfume to release first single in over a year

Perfume will release their single "Tokyo Girl" on February 15. This comes about a year and three months since their last single "Star Train".

"Tokyo Girl" will be used as the theme song for NTV's upcoming drama "Tokyo Tarareba Musume" premiering on January 18.

As a coupling track, the single will include "Houseki no Ame", which is the CM song for Sunstar Ora2. The single will also come with instrumental versions for these two songs.

The Limited Edition DVD will contain the PV for "Tokyo Girl" and other videos.

Shota Shimizu, who made his debut with the single "HOME" on February 20, 2008, will be kicking off his 10th anniversary year with a single titled "FIRE".

VAMPS to cover Depeche Mode for new single

VAMPS' new single "CALLING" will be released on March 22.

Besides the title track, the single will include a cover of Depeche Mode's "ENJOY THE SILENCE". The Limited Edition will contain acoustic live tracks of "THE PAST", "REPLAY", and "SWEET DREAMS" from their concert "VAMPS LIVE 2016 Tsuika Kouen ACOUSTIC DAY".
