Yes. I completed the RAW series of the TV Drama already. Watching with the new subtitles pack now.
Have watched the movie 4 times in the cinema already. And I still found the movie more touching than the TV Drama. Yuko and Shidou did a very very fantastic job at portraying Mio and Taku respectively. And they got married after the set finished as well.
Certainly reccomend this drama/movie as well! _________________

Hi, I reversed the English and Japanese text so that you can see the English in the latest posts list.

They got married literally after the movie.
Think the info was in the Yuko Takeuchi thread. In the front few pages. _________________

Well, it was a shotgun marriage. She was 3 months pregnant when Shidou Nakamura announced it to the general press/public... _________________

| finally a thread on this wonderful movie. Think it didnt create much publicity for show but this is definitely one of the better show that came up of japan for that year. The show is beautiful filmed and the acting by the actors in it was painfully touching. Really enjoyed the bittersweet story. |

| Now i am the crazy one. Bought the R2 limited editon. Found out the R3 HK version has English subtitle and bought it. Days later, R3 HK version came with a limited edition. Bought it as well. Now i am broke but happy. This is the best movie i have ever seen. Got to see it if you have not. |

| Is the movie currently being seeded anywhere? The movie always looked intriguing. |

I just finished the movie. I agree that this is quite possibly the best movie I've ever seen. As for the ending, this is what I gather:
| Spoiler (highlight text to read): | | When she gets hit by the car, she is transported into the future to 1 year after she actually dies. She falls in love with the future Takumi and the son she has not given birth to yet in the 6 weeks she stays with them. When returns to the past, she is determined to marry Takumi even though it will mean her life will end sooner. |

Some further ironies, interesting points about the movie and title:
| Spoiler (highlight text to read): | If you think about the beginning when the son and husband think Mio died because of them it could possibly be true. Like she says in the movie "maybe if I don't marry Takumi and find someone else I won't die at 28." But the difference it is a destiny she chooses, because she loves them so much.
I don't like the English translated title "Be with you." The original title really means "Now, I'll go to see you." Also, when you read it, the Ai sounds the same as Ai (love), so the title sounds like "go towards love." When I first read the title, I thought it was straight forward, "she's going to see them" from the dead. That's true, but it also has the 2nd meaning, the one she writes in her diary, that she goes to see Takumi to choose the tragic yet happy future where she dies at a young age. |
