abe hiroshi is probably one of the best actors.. and he is one of the few who don't look so fruity in the Japanese industry. |

It looks interesting. And knowing that Abe Hiroshi is in it, this should be good. _________________

Yeah he's a great actor and somehow manages to play so many different kinds of roles effortlessly! His comic ability will definitely make this drama an immensely entertaining one.
From Japan Times:
Model-turned-actor Hiroshi Abe is the perfect person to play the title character in Fuji TV's summertime drama series "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (The Man Who Couldn't Marry)" (Tuesday, 10:15 p.m.).
Abe's classic good looks contrast starkly with his comic awkwardness, making him one of those rare hybrids: the dreamy leading man who can succeed as a character actor.
Here he plays Shinsuke, a successful architect with a streak of eccentricity.
His fussy attention to detail makes him an unsatisfactory mate, and he decided a long time ago that romantic love was a pointless undertaking. However, after he turns 40 he starts to change his mind.
| Spoiler (highlight text to read): |
In episode two, which airs this week, Shinsuke comes down with a stomach ailment and decides to consult a doctor friend, but it turns out his friend is not working at the hospital that day and instead he gets a female physician named Natsumi (Yui Natsukawa), who, following treatment, warns him to cut down on his meat consumption.
The suggestion offends the dedicated carnivore, and he rushes right out for some Korean barbecue. |

Agreed. I like how he delivers those hilarious roles and at the same time does some serious acting as well. Overall, I enjoyed watching his dramas _________________

I only saw episode 1, and it's really good. The ratings dropped at the second episode, but raised again in the 3rd, so it means that people in Japan must be enjoying watching this drama. _________________

cool.....nice
it'll be even better if they were hardsub'd, but any subs would be nice.
so thankful for the fansubbers and their efforts to subbing, timing, etc a j-drama. _________________

Me too. They actually uploaded an .srt for the timing, so the only thing that we should wait for are the inputs (the subs), and it's 50% done. _________________

It's gonna be soft subbed. Yeah, gotta give credit for the time and effort that they give to do the subs. _________________
