i got info on her up coming movie "Mushishi"

Cinempire, a French-based movie site has posted several shots of Mushishi Live Action movie. The first thing that surprised me is the revelation that Aoi Yuu, the actress who plays live action Hanamoto Hagumi in Honey and Clover movie, gets to play the role of Tanyuu, the girl with the Mushi inside her body. The rest of the cast include Joe Odagiri, who plays Ginko, and Esumi Makiko, who I assume will play the role of Nui. Mushishi Live Action is directed by Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira) premiere this September at the Venice Film Festival.

saw her on a few j-mags at the japanese bookstore, but i didn't get those, i will have to dive into my collection of j-gravure mags to see if she is any, if she is, i will try to scan some up of her...she's definitely a cutie...

nice pictures. I didn't notice there's already a thread for Aoi Yu. She's not very beautiful but has a great smile. Besides, she's a talented actress. I'm really impressed with her acting.

She's mostly been in movies more than dramas lately. it's too bad cuz most of the J-movies are not being subbed. Shake Head

I saw Yuu-chan in the latest PV, "Kimi Ga Kureta Mono", by Home Made Kazoku. The song is great and Aoi Yuu is very pretty !! Big Grin

Just watched Hula Girl...Aoi was great in this movie and I'm really really impressed with the way she learned to hula dance...very good movie
