The weather here is fine. I'm just wondering if Eve is still living in Florida or has she moved to Borneo or Madagascar or wherever it was she was moving to?

Didn't even have to wash it then. More rain yesterday. The good thing is, with all the rain, the only thing they covered on the news was the storm. No Don Cheeto. w00t!

Rained Saturday, yesterday, and maybe again today. Dodgers/Padres game was rained out yesterday. Only the third rainout they've had since 2006.

Been in triple digits all week. Fried, sweltered, roasted, baked, frazzled. In other words HOT!!!

Temps finally got under 9000 degrees starting last Monday. Things are back to normal. Wish I could say the same about Florida. Beastmaster better button up that peacoat!!

Weathered the storm fine, thanks GM!

Wet and a bit wild. No power for a few days, still cleaning up tree debris, did all the roofs today, but no complaints. Victory! Peace!

Glad youve cooled down a bit there.

Windy. Which wouldn't be that big a problem except its blowing everything from the fires our way. Everything's covered with ash, soot, smells like smoke. Now I have some idea what the people on Sakurajima have to put up with.

Warm and dry, which is good. But I saw this on another forum from a guy living in England: " it's always raining here, except when it doesn't. When it doesn't then the sun shines which it does sometimes but it rains when it doesn't!"

When it's 75 degrees at 6:30 in the morning, not a good sign. But at least one of the TV channels has a sense of humor. Right now they're showing the old Richard Burton WWII movie "The Desert Rats". I'll probably feel like one before the day is over.
